They missed 1 FG.. and c'mon.. talking about a fake.. roflmao

Common theme from VT that game. Not making plays to win the game.

VT made more mistakes, and played worse on ST.

Making necessary big plays, and not playing stupid are things that make good teams. VT lacked that quality.

Again nothing from that season suggests VT was a better team.

M Rider insinuated VT didn't dominate the game per the stats.. which they did.

When did I say anything about stats?

I said they weren't the better team, and said they didn't dominate.

You love to put words in peoples mouths.

One thing we can all agree on. Michigan and VT > MSU.

    Except they did dominate.

UM had 12 total first downs and under 200 yards offense..

...yet still won. I don't care about stats. It is impossible to dominate a game in which you do not win. If you gain a lot of yards but can't get the ball in the endzone, you didn't dominate. That's not how football works. You have to actually, ya know, score.

  • The Detroit Lions had the 3rd most yards in the NFL this year and over 1000 more than they gave up on D , what a dominant team..

    Wait they were 4-12? Oops.

The ball clearly hit off the ground and went into his chest. I guess you can keep telling yourself it didn't move, but it's null and void at this point.

That ball didn't move an inch after Coale caught it but by all means keep deluding yourself. The only thing Mich is better than VT at is their History.

Michigan is the better team right now, that game was 2 years ago

Brown's the prototype DE for Saban's 3-4. Been saying that since I first saw him two years ago. Personally, I think he fits y'all better than Hand. Hand might be a tweener in the 3-4: Too big to play OLB and too small to play DE after all is said and done.

to big for JLB ? did you catch any film on Courtney UpShaw ?

the biggest question i have about our chances at getting Hand, isnt Hand. but more so the developement of ...

    2012 5* Ryan Anderson(6-3 255) &
    2013 5* Jonathan Allen 6-3 260)

    two other factors to consider...
    a) Bama runs its 4 man front Nick-pkg over 65% of the time
    b) the fact that Gerald Willis,Lorenzo Carter,& Justin Thorton will all get serious looks at well. shrug

UNC is squarely in the mix too. I just think Brown fits Bama so well that he'll end up there in the end. Long way to go and--as always-- time will tell.

if NSD 14' were today i would agree.
i would say Brown & Elisha Shaw but like you said, long way to go.
