Genuine North Korea/Current Events thread......

  • Let's use the trolls for bumps and get a decent conversation going.

What the hell is going to happen here!? It seems really bad to me. I am not sure what diplomatic solutions can really be reached.

Wish: China finally notices that this cancer of a nation is bad for them going forward and tells Un that he needs to cease weaponization of Nukes and he needs to open his borders, allow internet, quit enslaving his people. Un says "f you" and you have the shortest war in a long time. China, USA, Japan, and South Korea who is a mini-Israel militarily due to their noisy neighbor. That's all hell coming down. First thing you take out their silos. Then you swarm the place all under the auspices and guidance of advanced drones.

China taking the lead in liberating the most oppressed people in the modern world would be a huge step forward for mankind it seems.

  • Good plan and actually wish this would happen. Unfortulanty China is the big problem. They want to keep N. Korea a thorn in the Western allies side. It' s just another ball in our foreign pilocy game that keeps us busy.
Same game being played with Iran and Russia.
Sorry but China and Russia are NOT our friends.

We need Sean Penn to go check it out and tell us how they have chocolate flowing rivers and everything is so peaceful and lovely. Maybe Jane Fonda can go with him.

Who the hell does Rodman think he is? Not that I really care but does he think anyone is really taking him seriously?

Clearly we need Chuck Norris to roundhouse kick Kim Jung Un in the face. Come on dude, only conservative celebrities can solve this. Chuck Woolery is going to mediate the Love Connection between Kim Jong Un and Barack. It'll be sweet.

They are malignant, disruptive force in what otherwise would be the strongest economic epicenter in the world within the next 5 years. If North Korea was liberated and a republic formed that region (China, NK, SK, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Phillipines) would become the biggest hotbed of STEM innovation and would likely have standard setting take home pay averages and health care benefits/costs.

For the future of humanity itself North Korea needs to be liberated.

Agreed, N. Korea attacking the US doesn't scare me.
    What does scare me is-
N.Korea sharing their nuclear intel w/ Iran. Which is does but only for "peaceful purposes"
Iran than making a few nukes or dirty bombs.
Giving the dirty bombs to Hezbollah. Al Qaeda or another terror group in an attempt to bring chaos to the world. This then brings about the 12th Imam to create a world wide Islamic caliphate

Crazy talk, possibly. Do Shia's believe in this stuff, some or most probably do. More importantly dose Iranian President Ahmadinejad?
    ABSOLUTELY!!

Would take lots of re-education aside from just liberation

North Korea is a lost state, probably the saddest place on this planet

They certainly are decades away from ballistic technology that could threaten the US.

Even China doesn't have the ability to hit Washington DC.

But if we put a boat in a North Korean harbor they could swim a nuke out to us...scary stuff man.

Yup, at lease a generation or two of educating and training, not mentioning billions of dollars for infrastructure, housing, industry.
If you just free them and don't engage in nation building the now free N. Koreans will overwhelm the South and overflow into China.

I'm not sure if you are old enough to remember Sean Penn and his pre-Iraq war antics. I never liked him before but lost the little respect I had for him after.

I'm not old enough to remember Hanoi Jane Fonda but celebrities need to stay the hell out of politics, especially wars. I know your post was a joke but fvck Jane Fonda and Sean Penn.

No doubt. Pretty much would just take every North Korean getting a all paid trip to South Korea. When North Koreans see how South Koreans live they will be like, "I can haz?"

Remember that South and North Korea were the same thing in 1948. It's not like North Korea couldnt be SK2.0 within two generations.

I don't mind their political affiliations. That's their business. Hobnobbing with douchenozzles bother me. Any college kid can wear a Ché shirt. Lol.
