Genuine North Korea/Current Events thread......

  • lol.

It sounds like the sanctions China and the US are putting on NK are going to be harsh. In my opinion this may be a goad by those nations. You know Un will buck back.

  • Can we just tell China they can have North Korea if they want and we won't do anything about it?

They certainly are decades away from ballistic technology that could threaten the US.

Even China doesn't have the ability to hit Washington DC.

Hmmmm....I highly doubt that last part.

As for North Korea your time folks would be better spent thinking about the next Anerican Idol, because nothing at all is going to happen military wise. They are making a big fuss, we will pay them, they will quit making a fuss. The end.

I'm not sure if you are old enough to remember Sean Penn and his pre-Iraq war antics. I never liked him before but lost the little respect I had for him after.

I'm not old enough to remember Hanoi Jane Fonda but celebrities need to stay the hell out of politics, especially wars. I know your post was a joke but fvck Jane Fonda and Sean Penn.

Eh, whatever. You can just laugh at them the way I laugh at Ted Nugent. Celebrities shouldn't really be taken that seriously anyways - they have their areas of expertise, and generally, political issues aren't one of those areas.

You being all white and female and whatnot would make that a bad plan. They have concentration camps for their own citizens if they are deemed to have "sewed seeds of discontent" about the government. Imagine how much that law is a abused. They lock these people up and torture, starve and beat them. Regular citizens!

So many improper definitions of Socialist and Communist today.

Nah, I'd be fine. North Korea is desperate to show the world how normal it is, and how wonderfully it treats visitors (even imperialist Americans like myself). They'd roll out the red carpet in their empty hotels, restaurants, and karaoke bars for me.
