    so tell me again why if its wrong, why it wouldn't be a penalty?

  • and if you show me a video of an illegal play, i'll acknowledge it. uga players have done it in the past. jones had a dirty play in that auburn game. players with dirty plays should get suspended for some amount of time.

    CPJ's high school offense produces chop blocks every game they play in. I'm not against the cut block. Its an effective play for running backs to cut an oncoming rusher. I'm TOTALLY against cut blocks that don't come from in front of a player. And I'm TOTALLY against nasty chop blocks on lineman.

    I would insert my annual "Paul Johnson needs to quit being arrogant and go recruit good players because he was an infinitely better coach using Chan Gailey's talent" but the guy did win his side of the ACC this year, fair or not (Miami and UNC both were ineligible).

    No match for UGA this year, though. They had zero shot and played worse on offense than I expected.

    Agree, I dont understand when i talk to GT fans and they say something like we run a different offense than UGA does. ok, but you run a 3-4 defense just like us and dont recruit any of the same players that we do. Gailey could recruit just didnt seem to get the best out of all his players.

    Yup.

    Unfortunately, holds don't produce season ending injuries like chop blocks do.... But you are totally correct about the various legal cut blocks every play result in an illegal one being thrown every few plays.
