I would let it play out a little bit more and let the story unravel. Many UGA fans believe this orchestrated announcement wreaks of foul play. (I know, they always thinks it means others were cheating). But there were several people close to the matter shocked by this spur of the moment announcement, including Bo Scarborough and Tray Matthews.
Also fans feeled spurned due to the fact that this was done the day before our biggest recruiting event of the off-season in which Reuben changed plans on attending a few days ago.
Many fans also don't like how he happened to end up at Auburn HS due to his high school coach being fired.
But most of all fans are upset/shocked at the lack-of-class and disrespect Foster showed to the school which he grew up a fan of (Alabama) with his orchestrated announcement.
I'm not necessarily giving my opinions but giving you cliff notes on what many are saying/thinking right now. I will say that I was a little upset by the way he handled his flip. I thought better of Reuben than to get involved with some bs like that.

It had been obvious for weeks or months that Reuben had been recruiting Trey Matthews to Auburn. Recruits like Carl Lawson and Dee Liner had come out in recent days and weeks and said that Reuben was going to Auburn. Other recruits at the five star challenge also talked about Reuben hyping up Auburn. Several national recruiting analyst had got on the Reuben to Auburn bandwagon in recent weeks. If you decided to ignore all those things, that is your problem. You have no proof that anything improper happened and your complaints are nothing to sour grapes
To answer the original poster questions about why UGA fams are mad. Georgia has a blog called the Leather Helmet Blog with recruiting experts that try to convince them every recruit in the free world is going to Georgia and their fans eat up this guy's predictions and start creaming their pants prematurely, even though this guy has been consistently wrong on big name recruits over the last two or three years

I'm not sure how you got the impression that I indicated that anyone did not know he was leaning to Auburn for a while. If you'll reread I only said the announcement was pretty impromptu. And to argue that people close (his half-brother) wasn't shocked by this announcement is pretty silly.
As far as the LHB they call everybody a UGA silent. I'm not aware of many UGA fans who don't realize this. There are a few who read it like a bible but certainly most if not all on our board TIFWIW.
Also, my post was just answering the OP's question. I indicated that these were not necessarily my opinions but rather a cliff notes of what all I have been seeing hearing so I am not gonna sit hear and argue them out with you. You can take them FWIW, but you are already getting in defensive mode and there's really no point in that.

I am just calling you on your bs. The bottom is Georgia fans wouldnt have a single problem with anything Reuben has done if he would have simply announced he was going to Georgia, including the alleged disrespect he showed to bammer

Your stupid if you think anything I said was BS. I'm sure the OP would find my answer pretty sufficient. Doesn't mean you have to agree with it. Doesn't mean I have to agree with it. Your acting like a child.
Yes none of this would probably be said if he would have committed to UGA. That's pretty obvious. DA
Quit acting like a child. If you didn't want to hear an answer to the OP then why are you ITT? TIFWIW

Everything you said was bs. Even your comments about Reuben transfering to Auburn were bs considering most Georgia fans were openly rooting for Reuben to end up at the same high school with the Flowers guy because UGA fans believed he was a proponent of their school and would steer Reuben in their direction.

he posts more on what he wants to happen than what actually is happening. He read somewhere that Foster didn't want to go to Georgia because his mom couldn't get transportation to the games. This is the 21st century, she can get transportation to a game I promise.
But I agree after how this played out, I think that was Fosters real final decision. No way you can back off of that the way he handled it.

I went after him because the reasoning was hypocritical and just flat out dumb. Is that hard to comprehend? Reuben might or might not have been paid, but I doubt you or any other Georgia fan have proof. I also doubt you or any other Georgia fan would have a problem with Reuben's recruitment if he had picked your school.
I also laugh at Georgia fans think that score bothers me. My school just won a national championship two years ago which is something UGA hasnt done in over 30 years, but I am supposed to be torn up over the score of 1 game, especially when my school still has a winning record against UGA all time

It was very ballsy I just still don't get why UGA fans would be upset RF dissed a Bama player. Also Bo Scar may not have known but Tre Mathews absolutely knew about it. I know what his quotes say but he was trying to give RF his moment. He for sure knew about it though. I don't think we even thought anything about dawgnight and even if we did it's recruiting.... I don't get why BO Scar was supposed to know though. I think RF can make his own decisions without input from his friends.

If that was the case with Tray letting Reuben have his moment then it is the first time in his life he has done so. He did not offer any of his other friends that honor (you can check everyone), and this will be the very first time that Tray has avoided media after a commit from a friend (when had Tray ever avoided media attention? ever?) his only response so far is a WTF? type tweet.
As far as Tray flipping, and Shaq flipping, and all that, I'm not gonna argue cause I don't really care. IMO if Auburn can make foster flip then they can make anyone flip. But I will say that others who are traveling to auburn with that group this weekend don't seem very impressed with Reuben's announcement (see Demarre Kitt).
As far as Scarborough, he announced that Georgia was his leader currently. Then he delayed a commitment after Reuben flipped. Reuben is who took him to UGA. There is a connection to be made if you are under the mindset of many Georgia fans that the group wanted Georgia and this impromptu announcement seemed a bit off.
Once again this is in response to you questions, not me trying to rationalize. Me personally, I'm not sure what to believe and I could care less until september comes, but I am not having the issue of not understanding why georgia fans are upset. The only thing I can comfortably say is that I was not to impressed with the way he handled his flip, and I think it was insulting to everyone involved with Alabama, not just TJ Yeldon.
