Georgia should play Georgia Southern every year

Also, Georgia Tech should play Georgia State every year.
Alabama should play UAB every year and Auburn should play Troy. What are some other in state programs that should play every year? I find it would keep the money in the state and develop a healthy rivalry between the schools.
This would replace a perennial cupcake team a season this would not take place of an Alabama vs. USC type game.

UGA playing Georgia Southern the week before Georgia Tech is the smartest thing I've seen to do with scheduling. Not so much to do with finances, but for defending the Triple Option.

I was disappointed when they cancelled Tulane vs. LSU.
Would like to see Ole Miss or Mississippi State play Southern Miss.

I thought so too at first, but 2 full weeks of cut-blocks may take it's toll on the D going into the seccg.

I wouldn't mind playing at Hawaii every year and get an additional game out of it. Nice trip to the island as well.

Michigan State set up a deal where, instead of paying CMU, WMU, and EMU to come to East Lansing several times, we would give each of them one return trip to their own stadiums. The idea was to keep the money in our own state, rather than paying a team like Montana State a six-figure sum that they would take home to Montana. It actually saves us a considerable chunk of dough. It's also pretty cool for these smaller schools to get a big time game on their home schedule. I like the idea. This season, we traveled to CMU (and won).

I guess you discount the dozens of posts here over the last year about how weak USC's schedule has been lately.
