Clearly you're an idiot If you vote for a man that has made this country far worse than when he took over. I not saying a republican could do better. I'm just saying give someone else a chance because clearly the country is going in the wrong direction. And vote whoever is in office out every 4 years until someone shows improvement. It's amazing how moving his speeches are and even more amazing that people buy his rhetoric.

I almost vomited when I heard young people talking about how awesome the SOFU was. I wanted to slap them.

Then get a job to buy snacks. That should motivate them to get off welfare. Michigan is a craddle to grave state & it pisses me off. Most people sit home & sell drugs to. That would explain how they get their SUV's.

Theyre young so at least that's an excuse. Anyone over 30 who votes someone into office after seeing the obvious and factual decline of our country should be kicked in the teeth. Our founding fathers set an almost indestructible way of life and foundation for this nation. It's amazing how quickly it's eroding.

  • I just can't see Gingrich beating Obama. Romney is the best chance the Republicans have to win. This is a pretty interesting article (yeah yeah it's from MSNBC,com).

What's going to be comical, if Obama gets re-elected, he will still blame Bush for his mistakes.

Also, some of you should should take a finance/economics class before yoy cast your vote for Obama. I'd be will to bet that the majority of Obama supporters ITT majored in communication, sociology, history, etc.

Yup, I majored in Journalism & Electronic Media, what of it? Pretty proud of my college degree and still living comfortably after voting President Obama into office.

Agreed. It's gonna take Rubio, Jendal or someone young, enthusiastic who is socially moderate and a fiscal conservative. These retreads are yesterday's news.

Eh, they predicted that the nation would be so strong destruction would have to come from within. Out of entitlement and confusion. They knew it would happen and the tech age has just put rockets on the train to hell.

The people who are 15-25 right now will literally fail to a degree none of us can imagine.

I live near Pine Ridge Reservation now. One of my coworkers and friends grew up on the Rez. The conditions they live in are not first world. Native Americans have it worse off than any ethnic group and they take plenty of discrimination around here in terms of hiring.

Some folks just can't handle that President Obama is in office, I would love to hear how many peoples quality of life, style of living has actually be affected since he has been in office. I honestly think they just don't want a Democrat in office. I know ZERO friends, family members and co-workers who are conservative/republican that have lost their houses, cars or gone homeless in the past three years.

There is a group of natives that live on a reservation that do not take benefits and they live better than most people off the res. Its all about entitlements.

I forgot where it is, but I saw a report on the news and they basically said that they refused gov't benefits because of that and they are very successful people.

  • We are entitled to life and our liberty. Government has nothing, so in order to give someone something, government must take it away from someone else.

I read above that Michigan is a cradle to grave state. I got news for you. They're all cradle to grave states. Time to end the welfare state. We can't afford it.

Let's put a stop to it now before it's too late.

You realize much of that is by choice. It's easy as crap for a Native American to get into college even on scholarship. Colleges would love it. They choose to stay home and they choose to live simply.

The Constitution of the United States of America is not written, nor is it based off of the Bible. There are not citations to scripture in any Amendment. Therefore I want to keep religion OUT OF POLITICS, again the reason I will never vote Republican.

Many of them do choose. Some don't. Part of the problem is the social pressure to stay dependent. It isn't a simple problem, but I think it deserves more attention than it gets.

Have read it and no it wasn't. Freedom of Religion proves it and no one faith deserves preference over any other, nor should their views and beliefs be the law of the land.

The Judeo Christian values are founding documents possess are present in most other religions as well.

The founding fathers who were deist would have a tough time getting elected as a Republican today with the recent emphasis Republicans have put on bible thumping.
