Girls with dogs

  • Itt we talk about what crazy stuff girls do with dogs.

    A good friend of mine has a dog and she's broke. Recently, she's gone on an everyday ramen noodle diet so she can afford her dog's 100 dollar twice a month dog food. She pays 50 dollars a day on doggie day care. Her apartment is a shit hole and she sleeps on a torn up couch. Her dog sleeps on a custom temerpedic bed so it will help the dog get a better sleep. The dog isnt house trained and chews anything it puts it's paws on. Whenever she takes her dog to the dog park her dog constantly barks, bites, and fights other dogs. Yes, I know the difference between fighting and playing.

    End rant.

    Btw her dog looks like a pit bull Chow mix. She also calls up owners in her doggie day care when other dogs are rough with her dog. She sees the action by watching the web cam.

    I agree completely, her parents would let her move back home if she will agree to send her dog away to obedience school. I'm sure I forgot some of the crazier things she's done for the dog.

    One of my college roommates brought his dog from home since his parents wouldn't take care of it, and then proceeded to get hammered nightly and disappear on drug binges for days at a time, leaving the rest of the guys in the house to take care of his dog. If we hadn't been there, the dog would've probably died of neglect. When the dog eventually got fleas, we even had to pay for collars and flea spray because this jerk was broke and spent any cent he had on drugs. He flunked out, and when he moved out, we found about 20 fossilized dog turds on the floor of his room. That poor dog.

    I know more men who are not good pet owners than women. Women seem to be more likely to go without than a guy will. Even the op's friend, she's not caring for herself and probably shouldn't have the dog but he's not going hungry.

    I know what you mean. Also, whenever I find a girl that's extraordinarily obsessed with her dog I only wonder how she will be if/when she has kids.

  • I don't do anything crazy. I just love her more than life. The dog I grew up with died last year, and I still cry to this day when I think about him for too long.
