http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2217286/Global-warming-stopped-16-years-ago-reveals-Met-Office-report-quietly-released--chart-prove-it.html
The figures reveal that from the beginning of 1997 until August 2012 there was no discernible rise in aggregate global temperatures This means that the ‘pause’ in global warming has now lasted for about the same time as the previous period when temperatures rose, 1980 to 1996

Last I heard it was still called a theory. Its not global warming fact is it. There are periods of cooling (which also happened in the 20th century) periods of warming, & now periods of pause. All sounds like law of averages to me. The earth has cycles.

So why has the earth never warmed as rapidly as it has during the last 150 years? Sure it has fluctuated, but not that quickly. This rise coincides with the beginning of the industrial revolution and has a direct correlation with C02 emissions.
All scientific models are "theories". Do you feel as strongly against the atomic model, gravity, and plate tectonics?

oh really! How do you know the earth never warmed this quickly! Since you have data going back 150 yrs. How about 14,000 years. We all know the apocalyptic catastrophic consequences global warming extremist have warned us against have already come and gone. Just face it they used severely flawed computer models & tried to sell them off as fact. They have no clue what variables make the temps rise & fall. I'll tell you the biggest variable isn't even on this planet.

Anyone find it slightly odd that 97 percent of publishing climatologists state that human activity has directly contributed to global warming? One percent says we definitely aren't and 2 percent are uncertain.
But yeah, I'm sure gut feelings and what people read on Fred Sanger blogs are more legit than people who spend their lives in that field.
