Have been avoided and we could have had deficit reduction without short-term recessionary effect. So yes, the self-serving,inept blowhards in Washington still suck.

Reality can be packaged and worked with. But the perception is that Congress has hit a rocky bottom few thought was possible. They are incapable of accomplishing anything. To get something passed you have to put it on some lame ass bill as a 4th addendum on it.

They had to put up a fight to appease all of their constituents, but it was going to happen no matter what. I am a republican, but the Pubs appearance of only caring about the rich is going to be the downfall. Well, that and the whole immigration thing.
