  • Without drinking a liquid or eating any food. No reason just wanted to see if it was possible.

  • Actually I have another 8 hours for five full days.

    rolltide06

Good luck, hope you don't cause any major damage to your organs. Hopefully you finish before your kidneys shut down.

After three days the food isn't an issue. If you aren't spiritual though you should start drinking water NOW.

I've seen Christians go without water for 20 days and be perfectly fine.

  • Food isn't a big deal. A properly hydrated person with a decent amount of body fat can survive without food for over a month before you start to seeing potentially life threatening health issues. Water is a different story...

You've seen people fast without food and water for 20 days? Any independently confirmed studies to back that up?

lol, were you trying to be dumb there or not. Yeah, when we got together for a prayer and fasting commitment we invited a bunch of academics.

Whether you believe it's because Jesus was God or whether you believe the human body/mind is an unbelievable thing capable of quasi-impossible feats when when "spiritual" feelings activate a different part of the brain people are capable of doing unbelievable stuff like healing itself of cancer, etc.

The "healing ministries" in Christianity are railed against in the media and they search high and low for video footage that makes the minister look like a crazy person but folks are healed ALL THE TIME of basically any and everything. Like I said, you can label it the miraculous human body or the miraculous Christ. But it happens.

100% chance that groups of people have not been documented (video survelance, etc.) going 20 days without liquids.

There is also a 100% chance you don't provide any evidence other than something similar to what you posted above. 100% chance.

I'm sorry but I have till 6 tonight mountain time to go 5 days. I'm thirsty but I've been more dehydrated before. My biggest worry is over hydration at the end.

100% chance if I provided a video of the entire 20 days you'd not even care. I didn't even make it a spiritual issue. Like I said, many folks just believe that humans are capable of far more than we believe.

    100% chance I was there and it happened. 100% chance there's a 100% chance.

Not buying it fsufsu. You could get 1 million dollars from the James Randi foundation if you could prove it. That's not gonna happen.

It's like saying a friend did a triple back flip off a diving board and you say "I bet you won't post video". I say, Yeah man we didn't film it.

    You come back with this.

You're acting like when I discuss Christianity on here I seek approval. It takes about 10 seconds in any thread to figure out it's the opposite.

Not really. Not even close actually. Triple back flips aren't out of the realm of possibility as the commonly accepted limits of a human being.

You said you "invited a bunch of academics", implying that it was being documented by skeptics because you knew it is unbelievable.

You also said these things happen "ALL THE TIME", implying that it wasn't a one time freakish event.

Now, if I regularly defied the tenets of modern science/medicine on a regular basis, I would be inclined to document it for the skeptics. I might even want to use it as a tool for showing non-believers the "truth", if I actually believed it was a spiritual happening.

Alas, you and your companions did no such thing for one of the following reasons:

    1. It didn't actually happen.
    2. You guys were too dumb to realize the value of proper documentation.
