Good OOC games for the 2013 season?

  • We have our annual OOC game to start the season that seems to be a new tradition for LSU.

We open up with TCU in Cowboys Stadium.

What are some other OOC games that have been scheduled?

Also, when will UF leave the state of Florida for an OOC game?

EDIT: McDonalds Breakfast makes me blow up the toilet EVERY time I eat breakfast there.

  • These are the OOC games that I'm most intrigued by next year (not including traditional rivalries). This list is not exhaustive, and I mean no disrespect if I left a game off this list.
    8/31:
    Georgia at Clemson
    North Carolina at South Carolina
    Virginia Tech vs. Alabama--Atlanta
    TCU vs. LSU--Arlington
    Oklahoma State at Mississippi State
    Boise State at Washington
    Washington State at Auburn
    Penn State vs. Syracuse--East Rutherford

    9/7:
    Florida at Miami
    South Florida at Michigan State

    9/14:
    Boston College at USC
    Texas vs. Ole Miss
    Washington vs. Illinois--Chicago
    UCLA at Nebraska
    Wisconsin at Arizona State
    Tennessee at Oregon

    9/21:
    West Virginia vs. Maryland--Baltimore
    Arkansas at Rutgers
    Missouri at Indiana

    9/28:
    Oklahoma at Notre Dame

    10/26:
    Boise State at BYU

    11/2:
    Alabama State at Kentucky

Edit: No to the question on Florida. Their only road OOC game is at Miami. Florida's last non-conference game outside the state of Florida was a trip to the Carrier Dome to take on Syracuse on September 21, 1991.

Alabama State vs. Kentucky peaks your interest? The rest of the games are very interesting though somewhat. Thanks for the list.

  • I would love to schedule an early OOC game against anyone a casual CFB fan has heard of.

I only knew Who Sav St was cause I'm from the Savannah area.

  • I like how Bama tries to get a different OOC team that should be good every year. But damn VT...what happened to them? That might actually be an easy ticket.

I'm assuming because Texas wants no part of it.

Sadly most likely true , due more to proximity and potential recruiting fallout.

That's why we schedule teams further away like nd , Ohio state , UCLA

Would personally love to watch LSU vs Texas

I would worry more about A&M when it comes to recruiting than I would LSU as a Texas fan.

Sumlin is one hell of a coach and A&M will start poaching players that would have previously been Texas locks now that they are in the SEC and making noise.

It will likely be the only time Isaiah Crowell will play against a decent team before he's in the NFL in '14.

Sorry, but that's the most pathetic list of "highly anticipated" OOC games I've ever seen. I can't find more than three games on that list I would go out of my way to see.
