Good Pandora Stations

Stations I mostly listen to:
Soundgarden (just plays 90s grunge plus a couple others like Audioslave) - typically what I lift weights with
Beatles - chillin at house station
Zeppelin - same
Beastie Boys (a great pandora station) - friday night having some beers station
Johnny Cash station - good station, chillin at house

I have slacker also just for some reason when I listen I go to pandora.
I also have sirius xm which I listen to alot.
have a sonos system at house which is awesome. probably about to breakdown and buy spotify and go with that.

on sonos can't tell a difference between any of the services they all sound very good. also listen on droid will have to try slacker and see if different. load time/buffering on pandora sucks on droid.

I am not enough of a music snob to get into what is better than Pandora. It does the trick for me the few times I need to use such a program so unless a free service with preset stations plays with no or fewer commercials than Pandora, I'm fine w/ Pandora.
That said, I listen to "Hard Rock Strength Training" during my CrossFit workouts. It's pretty similar to what you're describing... a lot of 90s and early 00s rock music, but no death metal really, which is awesome for me as I hate music that just yells at me. There's also a "Rap Strength Training" station but I don't know much new rap and a lot of the stuff that plays on it just isn't for me. We also stream it through the speakers so we have to be careful to please the masses and a lot of the words in the rap station aren't quite appropriate to be blaring wildly in public. Many people obviously do like it though.

did janes and 311 at the gym. 311 had some reggae mixed in though which I like but not fast paced enough...need some downvotes to flush that out of the station lol.

Good stuff. I tried the hardcore rap at the gym. I like more of lil Wayne three pEat esque type of music when I working out.
