  • Where would you rather be on Saturday? LA or L.A...... (Bama,LSU or USC, Oregon)

    LSU in Night games has a record of 226-60-4.

    LSU in Day Games has a record of 25-26-3

    Also have the nations longest home winning streak at 22 in a row.. Last loss to then #1 UF in 2009.

    It's going to be a damn good game.. I don't know who will win though.

    EDIT: It's also a good read on both games, too.

    Not sure how this is even a debate? #1 vs #5, rematch of the national title game, Death Valley at night which is an unbeatable atmosphere, winners of 3 of the last 5 national titles...or #4 vs #17, a team that just lost to Arizona, in the Coliseum which doesn't compare to most SEC stadiums.

    I look forward to watching USC-Oregon and think it will be more entertaining as a lot of points will be scored but that doesn't make it great football. The better teams, atmosphere will be in Baton Rouge.

    Bama - 20 LSU - 10
    Oregon - 38 USC - 27

    Since 1991 (including that game), the road team is 14-7.

    Also, since 1960 Alabama is 18-4-1 playing in Baton Rouge.

    Yeah.. LSU and Bama both seem to play better on the road in this series.

    LSU might be ranked 5th but they are not a top 10 team. Death Valley at night is obvious but if we are making a long weekend out of it, I'd say Cali > Louisiana all day, err'day.

    Meh.. We're a top 10 team.. There's not 9 teams better than us right now.. Especially with a D that would keep us in every game.

    Go see LSU/Bama if you like defense and a loud arse stadium.. Go see USC/Oregon if you like offense and a more laid-back game day experience.

  • Last year's Bama vs. LSU game (Round 1) in Tuscaloosa was the most intense football game I've ever attended. It was sick. Don't expect it to be quite like that this year as Bama might be a little better, but LSU gets amped up at night in Tiger Stadium, so that could really even the playing field.

    Oregon vs. USC should be a fun one. Oregon's defense will slow Barkley down more than we think. Ducks by 14.

    All that said, gotta be in Baton Rouge this Saturday. Tailgating/atomsphere, ballgame, and weather will all be perfect.
