    Two times? I can't remember beating SC. My Freshman year we played and it was first game as a student and game got called halfway in the 4th due to lightning. My first Rose Bowl, I was in the 7th grade you beat us. I don't want to look OT up but it's been years!

    That's my point.......yet the Imperial Buckeye claims real football isn't played on the West Coast...only an imbecile would claim that...

    why do I even bother?!

    No he covered them up at the start of the season or even before the season. OSU was going through Tress emails later in the year and uncovered the notification from the lawyer and self-reported, this was about the time of the sugar bowl.

    It was already out by the Sugar Bowl and BCAA had already suspended the 5 for the first 5 games. His knowlege of what happened hadn't yet came to light.

    Looked it up. USC leads the overall seris 13-9-1 and Ohio State's last win was 42-21 in the 1974 Rose Bowl. I was 1 1/2.

    How old were you when USC beat Ohio State 35-3 in 2008? How about when USC beat Ohio State 18-15 in 2009?

    No its not....the USC sanctions were nothing like what was being rumored before it happened.

    We just had the Penn State situation, where all those rumors turned out to be mostly wrong. And this was less than a month ago.

    You need to work on your recall a little better.

    I'm talking the two days before the sanctions hit. There started to be rumblings of a major hit. I remember all the message boards lighting up with everyone making the same type posts you are now.

    When it hit everyone was surprised even with the warnings it was worse than imagined.

    He acted like he couldn't remember Ohio St vs. USC. I reminded him that they just played in 2008 and 2009. I was not sure if he was so new to college football that he missed the 2009 matchup between Matt Barkley and Terrell Pryor.

    Bama, the NCAA claims to be a non-profit organization, but have you seen how much employees make? Have you seen the contract numbers, and how the money is actually distributed?

    I applaud the current regime for cracking down. Even though the NCAA is corrupt the programs need to be cleaned up and they just need to hammer folks for about 5 years and people will curtail cheating a lot

    So are you saying they are taking profits?
    I guarantee you the employees (who are all professionals and administrative executives) compensation is infinitesimal compared to total revenue.

    Football is not divided evenly like other sports, so I'm not sure why that matters anyways. aTm isn't bringing in the big bucks for the basketball tournament.

    Like I said, if it's such a corrupt, unfair organization, then maybe the programs being treated as such should leave. That's just my opinion.

    Sure thing but I can remember The '85 Rose Bowl and 1990 game in the Shoe? I've forgot to more football then you will ever know but whatever makes you happy.

    Then why bring up the 74 Rose bowl when you were 1 1/2? I'm not questioning your football knowledge or recollection. I just don't see the relevance of the 74 Rose bowl in a thread about Oregon's sanctions.

    Did you read the whole thread or just this page? I had just complimented SC and said I cant ever remember beating SC, so I looked it up and that was why I posted that.
