I like the Bielema hire for Arkansas because putting together a roster that can compete for championships at Arkansas is really the same plan as Wisconsin. Like him or not, he kept the roster at the level that the Badgers were one of the best teams in the B1G for a few years. Challenges are similar at Arkansas.

Bielema dominated the worst teams in a bad conference his entire career.

He wasn't exactly facing Saban and Miles in the B1G.

And even that year he still lost the Rose Bowl.

Something his predecessor never did.

Agreed. I like it much better than the AU hire. I just wonder how successful anyone can be at Arkansas. That's not meant as a flame, just an observation.

Devidee your a idiot. Bielema made it to three straight BCS bowls. And granted Ohio state was not eligible this year but he still made never the less and he did it without cheating and lieing. Something tressel couldn't do. Bielema made it to this years rose bowl after losing 6 coaches from the past year. He is a good coach whether you like to admit it or not. Whether he can compete at this level is yet to be seen but now at least he will have the money to keep his assistants at home!

Gonna take Jones time to build relationships with higher profile recruits that he couldn't pursue at Cinncy..Recruiting starts in a players Soph. and Jr. year and snow balls from there..Dooleys 2013 class is his worst..His last month was full of cast offs..I don't see any AJ Johnson's or Tiny Richardson's in this group. Not one ESPN 150 players. Most appear to be average 3 star guys who will contribute but not have us in contention..We desperately need a high profile back..Jones seems to have an eye for good 3 star kids and frankly the Cinncy RB's look more talented than Neal and Lane

OSU has dominated all the teams in the B1G. Not just Indiana, Purdue, Minnesota and Illinios.

Really love Bielema's staff so far. If he can keep getting guys that know the conference and can recruit the south, he might end up being a pretty solid hire.

I think Tennessee whiffing on Tee Martin and letting Pittman go were bad mistakes. I like how he put SEC experience on the defensive side, just not sure it's necessarily good experience.

Like what Malzahn's doing thus far also.
