If I can cheat a little bit, I'll go with the sum total of human medical advancement. Just a few hundred years ago, life expectancy for the average person was about 30. Today, life expectancy (for an American, anyway) is 78. That's some incredible stuff right there, imo.

HD? Please, that's so 2010. The ship would launch in 8-10 years and by then 3D will be for commoners. The "experiential technologies" that we will enjoy in 8-10 years will make it like we are on the trip ourselves.
It's gotta be Mars. We need a manned mission to Mars in which they stay for a few months and potentially build some kind of semi-permanent housing unit. Hell, maybe activate the reactor and save the colonies from Cohagen.

The FEAT of SENDING (& retrieving) someone to the moon was great. But, what did they find there that has really helped improve life? Nothing that I can recall.
To be the greatest feat, I would think it would need longer term impacts on the history of mankind than just saying you did something to beat U.S.S.R. at something.
Space exploration hasn't gained much for civilization, IYAM.

Space exploration?
What the Apollo missions accomplished I dont know if it will ever be touched.
Took a 35 story rocket filled with 1million gallons of rocket fuel and exploded it toward deep space using computer technology that 1 Iphone could lap.
A quarter of a million miles away and back to tell the story. Truly awesome.
