If we do numbers 1-99, I nominate Nile Kinnick for #24. He was the 1939 Heisman Trophy winner and passed up pro football to join the military during WW2. He was killed during a test flight in 1943. If citizenship and leadership (he was team captain and student body president) mean anything, Kinnick gets the nod here. Plus, he delivered the greatest speech in Heisman Trophy history.

Brooks never finished ranked outside of the top-5, won a NC, and won his conference 3 or 4 times I think.
Just saying the argument could be made for the longevity of success.
Plus, QBs can take a game over...LBs is a different story

#38 George Rogers.... Not anyone even close here.. The sentimental vote is Chucky Mullins of Ole Miss but Big George is one of the Greatest of all time.
