Gundy has no comment on Arkansas job

Gundy was asked Monday about reports that have linked him to Arkansas. He declined comment, saying he does not want to talk about speculative reports or other jobs.
After leading OSU to school-record 12 victories and the program's first BCS bowl appearance last season, Gundy was rewarded with a new contract that extends through the 2019 season. The net worth of the contract is $29.725 million.
Arkansas, which reportedly will break the bank for a new coach, is searching for a replacement for John L. Smith, who is completing a one-season interim stint.
TCU's Gary Patterson also has been mentioned as an Arkansas candidate.

Yes he is.
He and the AD aren't exactly seeing eye to eye after the way his extension worked out last season.

Yea man. And look how the players turned out. Burns sucked at QB, Dyer is a screwball, and Frazier didn't wanna compete against Wilson and Allen at Arkansas.

I'm an outsider to both conferences/schools... I see this as a lateral move. I understand an arkansas alum or an ok state alum may feel different, but from the outside looking in they are about the same.

I think Oklahoma State is an excellent program and this year would beat the breaks off of Arkansas. Last year, as good as both were, a toss-up.
But just as a job if you are comparing only the two, Arkansas gets the edge because it is THE school in that state. There's something to be said for that as opposed to having to share your state with one of the best programs in the country.
