I have serious questions on whether or not Gunner will be successful on the next level. We made him a 5star and theres no going back on that. He certainly has five-star talent. But history shows that commitment wafflers have a bad track record of living up to their potential and gunner had some of the biggest waffling I've ever seen.
I worry about a quarterback that handles the recruiting process the way he has. I hope he's successful but I'm starting to have some serious doubts.

Just think.........you could have had Montana's kid............who would have transferred just like he did from WA. And Crist.
Seriously though, QBs are a different category and there seems to be more of them transferring than other positions and it rarely seems to pay off. Other positions have a bit better success rate. USC has had lots of wafflers with some who really did well elsewhere like Te'o and CJ Spiller and others not so much like Henderson and Hazelton. I never did understand why Mustain came out here.

give it 3.5 weeks and he will be at Penn State, then USC then Oregon, then Auburn, then back home and lead the Ball State team to the MAC title!

hopefully we are wrong.

Who really knows? The USA Today article that stated his mom was crying and forced his hand was from some writer that Kiel didn't even talk to. I believe Steve W has been the point man on all the Kiel news.

Gunner Kiel, I'll say it...
