I have a feeling Anzalone will be back before long take the headlines for a day.

Yeah, he isn't going to like being one upped at all.

What it is, it's a loafer. And we'll call it the Air-Bombay Loafer; "For kids who want to coach."

Anzalone will be coached up pretty good.

    Who ripped him?

I was wondering the same thing. I think it is good for ND and wish him the best of luck. He simply wants to go somewhere that he has a better chance to start. There have been many transfer qbs who have made it to the NFL. Cassel is the only career backup I think of that made it. Flacco left Pitt and transferred to Delaware. I guess he didn't "have the chest" for Big East football.

    Waaaaay different.

Look how the recruiting process was handled by Tate Forcier and Gunner Kiel.

Aikman is tough as nails too.

Gunner Kiel committed to three different schools in recruiting, now he committed after 1 season at ND.

The kid can't make up his mind.

So Flacco wasn't scared of competition when he transferred to Delaware, but Kiel is because why?

I am not big on flip flops and decommits but it happens all the time now for many different reasons. It doesn't mean they are scared of competition or "do not have the chest".

He doesn't have the mental capabilities to make a decision and live with it.

He's going to have a tough life if he doesn't learn to be a bit more decisive and actually have some follow through.

Flacco was told Palko was starting (and he was at Pitt, Delaware has more success and fan support than Pitt anyway).

Was Kiel told he wasn't starting (I honestly don't know and am curious)? If so, then he should transfer if he feels he doesn't have a chance to play. If he's leaving to avoid competition, that's different from Flacco being told flat out that he wouldn't play.

I doubt he was told flat out it was gonna happen, but I'd be a little skeptical if I was sitting behind a redshirt freshman who just lead his team to the NCG.

The reason people are bashing Kiel has little to do with the transfer, it's just the cherry on top.

Guys has proven time and time again he's a little wonky, and this just affirms that.

Why because he is transferring? He has no chest because he doesn't want to wait 3 years to be a starter? Miles was crying because he lost a big recruit. His comments were sour grapes.

Matt Flynn committed to LSU the same year that Jamarcus Russell did and sat behind Russell for four years before getting his shot as a starter as a fifth year senior. Flynn could have transferred but refused. He stuck it out because he made a decision to attend LSU and LSU was where he wanted to be. Do I really need to remind you how that ended?

How about Jarrett Lee? The kid had a rough freshman campaign and lost his job to Jefferson. Then he had to sit behind that ass clown (Jefferson) and watch him stink it up for a couple of seasons. It may have been in his best interest to transfer. He didn't. Much like Flynn, Lee said he made his decision for LSU and he was sticking to it - regardless of how tough it got. The kid took a beating from the fans and media his first three years but he handled himself extremely well - much like Alex Smith with the Niners. His senior year he was able to be a part of one of the greatest LSU teams ever despite the BCSNC game beat down. Jarrett Lee did a great job his senior year helping LSU to an 8-0 start and some big game victories. The kid finished his career on the right note and earned a lot of peoples' respect.

In both cases, each man exhibited the proverbial "CHEST."
