Gunner Kiel update (12/23)

Checked around last night and this morning, and Gunner truly doesn't know where he wants to go yet. He's trying to make an informed decision, and he's keeping in touch with the coaching staffs at Notre Dame, LSU and Vanderbilt. He's not leading anyone on.
I don't know when a final decision is going to come because Gunner doesn't. He is still working through things with his parents and family. Weighing all of his options. He's not picking what he wants for dinner or what he wants to do this weekend, he's picking a school.
Anything you've read on any site about a pending commitment to one of these three schools is completely false. Those folks cannot be considered credible. Kiel is not planning an elaborate announcement. Once he knows where he's headed, he'll commit.
As far as my gut feeling on where he's headed, I think ND and LSU are even at the top. However, that's my gut talking and balancing the facts as I've heard them. He's not a lock or lean to any school at this point.

I hope he picks Notre Dame, forcing them to quit lying to Jalin Marshall about potentially being their quarterback of the future. Then Jalin will pick Ohio State and be the next Percy Harvin. It's a win win situation for everyone.

didn't know we had members of the coaching staff on 247. Even better that he is pretending to be a Buckeye fan.. Is it safe to assume Urbs isn't offering Marshall at QB? That's great if that's the case looks like he'll be all IRISH..

I hope he doesn't end up at Vandy. I don't like Franklin. He's arrogant as all heck... The SEC is brutal enough without Vandy trying to actually trying to become a competive team.
