I'd would agree with them when Trooper told Cyrus he would be competitive with his brother for the same spot. He did so in order to get him to come to Bama. We all know he would not have competed against his brother and has not since. One plays LT and the other guard. If Saban was telling Collins he would play DB then he moved him to safety the first day or something like that, OK< I could see it. But Collins has been recruited for as long as Saban has been at Bama and LSU and Bama both had a lot to offer. He made his choice based on where he felt comfortable and/or who he wanted to coah him. Saban is not lying to him and neither is Miles.
I guess Calloway might fall into that catagory if he moves to LB at some point. But right now he is playing RB and redshirted this year. Maybe I just can't see it, but I don't see the corelation at all.

Because it is common knowledge. He said in a bunch of interviews on TOS that he did not want to compete against his brother for the spot. It's common knowledge and not up for debate/ Ask the AU guys, they will tell you. Nobody ever denied it during his recruitment and even went as far as to argue that Cyrus would compete for the LT spot against his brother.

Completely talking about some bama fans calling out his mom and them disagreeing with their kids choice. Calloway seemed to want to goto Auburn. It was very obvioous his family didn't care for that. Auburn fans called out his family. Alabama fans (not all) said that they had every right to be in the decision making process and guide him to Bama.
Bama got a commitment tonight from Collins. Parent didn't like the choice. Now some are saying it doesn't matter and it is his decision solely.

Yeah, I think parents should have some say in the decision. I mean, I would have a very hard time signing off on my son playing for Lane Kiffin. I just don't trust that guy and would try to explain why to my son. I would hope he would see it too but in the end, I would support him. In this situation it's not like LC can go wrong with either choice Bama or LSU. Collins might very well start next year.

There's no question about either school. Both are top notch for a DB. He probably could go to Boise and still make it in the pros IMO. He is a lot like Eric Berry in that way. I just think it is a little hypocritical that bama fans are calling out his mom. Auburn fans called out BC's parents too (right or wrong, not going to get into that) and a lot of Bama fans said they should have every say and all that.
There are some hypocrites calling out his mom. We called out a parent and got hammered from you guys about it.
