I saw that the most recent article in his profile said that Bama was in good shape with him, which kind of surprised me. We've been hearing since his visit that PSU was on top. You guys will have plenty of options - we absolutely NEEDED him.

Bama has proved that they can take those "under recruited" QB's and turn them into efficient Qb's.
Hackenberg has a great chance to play very soon at penn state. He definitely has all the makings to be a great one.

Hey, at least you guys have scholarship QB's.
I have a hard time believing you should be worried. You've won two NC's lately with two only decent QB's, one of them a first year starter (was McElroy a first year starter as well?). I think you'll be fine.

Great pickup, I really like Hackenberg's game. It should help having a good QB to run O'Brien's system. Now there's no way Brenemen waits much longer. I'm assuming him and Hackenberg are getting the Brady-Gronk pitch from O'Brien? Must be very effective.

I hope so. Losing the top 2 QB's last year when we lead for both at one point only makes it sting worse

Breneman and Hack have apparently been talking. And yes, I'm sure they're getting that pitch, although Breneman would be getting the Hernandez pitch more likely.

I'm hearing that you guys are in for Max Browne in Seattle, who's the top rated QB in America. He won't be playing at UW since they recruited two studs last class, and it seems he wants to play abroad.

Nice pickup for Penn St. Breneman now has someone to throw to him now. Nice to see elite talent going to the B1G. Michigan and Ohio State recruiting like no one's business, and Penn St. may not even miss a beat after all.
