Conservatives don't give him credit on his foreign policy because overall, his FP sucks. However, I give him a lot of credit for his policy with drone attacks (more conservatives should), which is only a small part of his overall FP.

He has final say as Commander in Chief, sure. Still, he basically does what he is advised to do because he's not really qualified to make military decisions.

I'm a big Obama supporter, but one of the biggest reasons there are more succesful drone attacks is because the US has done a much better job in the intellegence community recently. You can't kill them if you don't know where they are.

UAVs {unmanned aerial vehicles} (aka drones) started decades ago. USAF used them in late 50s. In 2005, UAVs saw many, many flight hours (over 100,000 hrs) in the Iraqi conflict.

Coincidentally, there was tremendous uproar over the DoD contract for these UAVs. Suddenly, every media outlet finds it PC to report that UAVs (drones) have made all of these successful strikes. I can't say what I do for a living, but you can probably read through some lines here. I see QUITE a bit of stuff in my work. I can say, without any doubt, that this administration plays the media better than any I have seen before and our media thereby controls the U.S. public. Many of you all believe exactly what they tell you and nothing more. I will leave it at that.

Did either of you two geniuses even read the entire first paragraph of my response, where I gave Obama credit for both changing the rules of engagement to grease the skids for more drone attacks, and increasing said drone attacks? Or do you just want to focus on the one single sentence at the end that you disagree with? Forgive me for not worshipping the ground he walks on like you do. Kitemac, I obviously "see that", because my post congratulates Obama on doing a good job in those areas. BLF, I gain nothing personally nor do I influence any election by criticizing or praising Obama, so it's not "politically expedient" either way for me. I simply call it as I see it. I wish expressing my opinion had such consequences, but alas, I'm only an anonymous poster on an internet message board. Serious stuff for you two, obviously.

And as for your silly little jobs chart BLF, I suppose you think that proves that Obama is doing a good job with economy? (1) Bush sucked, so I don't know why you liberals only want to compare Obama's job to Bush's job. That's like bragging about being the fastest in the special olympics. (2) The chart shows 0% growth in private sector jobs under Obama, and a ~3% loss in public sector jobs. I think we should seriously slash public sector jobs because our government is too big as it is, but we all know we haven't lost public sector jobs because Obama is cutting government spending and/or reducing the size of government. So exactly what is so good about this graph for Obama? (3) Find a unbiased source next time.

Regardless, my problem with the liberal/democrat domestic policy is not related to unemployment or job growth. Runaway government spending will be the ruin of our economy if we don't get a handle on it and stop spending money like a drunken sailor in a whorehouse, and do it NOW. Republicans are only slightly better at this than democrats, they are giving much lip service to it right now but as usual the blue bloods in Washington are fighting any real change along with the democrats. I am a conservative, not a republican, so I'm pretty much fed up with both of them right now. We need to put an immediate stop to all growth in government spending IMMEDIATELY and begin some serious talks about how we can start reducing government spending. I'm not holding my breath.

A change in the overall mission, and changes in tactics has NOTHING to do with the president, ecspecially from one that has never served a day in his life. It's done by the task force commanders, the location commanders, and the local troops on the ground. Obama was not the shot caller when it came down to Osama bin ladens death, that was going to happen regardless of his decision. Intelligence in today's special operations unit would blow your mind. The assets are simply unreal.
