Has any heard rumors about the new NCAA football game ?

    Is there gonna be competition to EA Sports this year or not yet ? I know they lost the exclusivity

    Things they need to fix imo

    -Stop making it rain so damn much

    -MOAR Facemasks

    -MOAR Shoes

    -No Thursday and Friday games at freaking noon lol

    -Obviously quit allowing Lebron James jumping ability for LB's

    -Better and more in depth offseasons, they aren't terrible but could use some more features

    Anybody got any good news for me ? Im pretty excited to see what else comes out and if EA steps it up now that they have to compete for sales

  • meant new game, not ea. ea is doing theirs. only news i've seen is the stupid cover vote (still ongoing, down to 8 - bama, a&m, mich, osu, oregon, nd, uga, fsu) and a tweet from david pollack saying he's working with them in some capacity.

  • The only company that could do it at this time is 2k sports. No one else has a football engine, and it would take a while to build one from scratch.

    I wish someone would. I play NCAA like crazy and the glitches get old. There are so many in the game

    They just need to fix all of the gay crap in the game. Super LB's jumping 10 feet in the air to make picks. That is just one of many things that need to be fixed.

    And Im all about details like having more shoes and facemasks

    I hate when I have players who don't have their real facemasks, such an easy thing to add but they are so lazy

    They could have patched that in if they cared more than zero shits about the product they put out

    Might sound weird, but since you can edit names of the recruits after you sign them

    You should be able to edit where they are from too, sounds ridiculous I know but its an easy fix and Im OCD so it would save me from creating 25 prospects every season so that I can get real recruits

    I can't stand just editing the name and having say Ira Denson be from Jacksonville Fl lol, I should be able to edit where he is from if I can edit his name and everything else

    They also need more style of dreads, Why they would only add one style just shows how lazy they are and how much they don't even give a shit

    They need to make hairstyles and not just the dreads on certain faces too lol, I have at least 33 people on my team that are identical brothers rotflmao

    I agree with you 100%. I honestly think if they had competition they would put more time into it.

    Honestly, I think NCAA is a pretty awesome game.

    Two things though:

    About the bungee jumping linebackers, the game has the players as equivalents of 9 feet tall humans...if that makes sense. The size of each player is too big (relative to the dimensions of the field) , but thats the model, and if they changed it before the next gen all the animations would look real silly. so that's why it seems like they can jump 20 feet in the air. Madden made the player model smaller, and I find it more realistic in terms of throwing it over the middle, but it can't be totally fixed until they rebuild a total player model on the next gen

    The other point is that rosters should be put up to 85 on the next gen. I hate having to cut down to 70 players each year, and i believe this is going to get fixed soon.

    Oh...and if David Pollack's voice is in this game type_angry, I'm gonna blow some chit up explode

    IMO, NCAA 14 will only be marginally better, because it's the last game before a new console. Why make new stuff when it has to be thrown out completely a year later. NCAA 15 will suck ballz, since it will be on a new console. Expect a lot of glitches. NCAA 16 is gonna be out of this world though, so many possibilities on a new system, once the kinks are worked out

  • One of my biggest issues with NCAA is the blocking mechanic. When I'm playing defense, be it a DE or NT or LB, whatever, shedding blocks is work; I don't mind that, that's good play by the opposing O-Line. Working the stick, finding the gap, making blitzes work is part of what makes playing defense fun. However, when I'm on offense, my O-Line plays TOTALLY differently. Sure, they'll tear the D-Line a new one occasionally and I can bust a big run up the middle or around the corner if no DBs stay home to protect the side, BUT, if I'm following my lead blocker, for example, I find way to often they either whiff on their assignment all together or hit their guy and then they immediately release (as I'm running by) and I get arm tackled in the process.

    I find the run blocking mechanic works much better in Madden 13, though the new Infinity Engine has made running up the middle much harder due to the fact you can fall down if breathed on now. lol

  • They need to improve the stadium atmosphere. They need to actually have the right songs that teams run out to (They have a fight song when South Carolina runs out rather than 2001). Also some aspects of our stadium (videoboard) are wrong. I am sure this is the same way with other teams too

    EA owns all the licenses.

    Gonna have to wait a few more years Unless the Chinese make an NCAA game

    The problem with PI is that your WR can get "stuck" behind a DB due to the way the game does route running and get "interfered" with and never get the call. Happens all the time on deep routes for me where my faster WR will get caught up on the DB 'cause the CPU makes them run the same exact path.
