Has your school ever had a player decommit?

  • Cause at Michigan they never have. Everyone who has ever decomitted was dropped.

Ward is not a decommittment, #Michigan dropped him...

  • Sam Webb seems pretty trivial when it comes to "protecting Michigan's image". He also tweeted today that Hoke didn't cry today.

I like the guy, but clearly the biggest Michigan homer out there.

Ward wasn't going to be a Wolverine (been saying that for a while), whoever dropped who it's inconsequential. I don't think Ward is going to go that far on twitter if he was dropped by Michigan. Odds are Webb is just trying to "protect the image".

If it was between the two, I think Michigan got the better one.

No worries, I think that one's all yours. The Michigan coaches have pretty much cut ties with him, I don't think we're even recruiting him anymore.

    Dawson > Ward

I gotta do my research on Ward. Kid just popped up on my radar like a week ago.

Ward moving to Florida makes me a lot more comfortable. I'd love for IMG to become a Florida pipeline. They're going to be a juggernaut in no time.

Well he did move halfway across the country and transferred high schools without notifying our coaches. If I were a coach who just brought in 10 studs at his same position, I'd cool on the kid.

But go ahead, continue being jealous.

Huge kid. 6'8, 295 pounds and he carries his weight great. He is a converted basketball player, this past year was his first year ever playing football. Extremely raw but has tons of upside.

    6'8", 290.... No kidding

He's about to greatest training at the best facilities in the state of Florida, sans The Big 3 schools.

Hard not to get excited from the little bit I know of him. Rumor is he silented to Muschamp two weeks ago and will go public at a Jr Day. We'll see if it's true or not.

Nah all parties had the same story on that one. We told Zeke would only take one RB, he committed and we informed Green. Don't remember any dispute on him. Green had an OSU offer for a year and didn't commit, wanted to play the game.

Excuse ? Really? Green says it himself in this article.

The numbers game caught up with Ohio State’s recruitment of ESPN 150 running back Derrick Green (Richmond, Va./Hermitage) on Wednesday.

Green, who is ranked 53rd, had been planning on heading to Ohio State’s Friday Night Lights this weekend, but won’t be coming to Columbus now because the Buckeyes have apparently pulled their offer, according to the four-star, 6-foot, 215-pound senior.

“I think they had one scholarship left or something like that and they took a receiver (Taivon Jacobs) instead of waiting on me and not getting me,” he said.
Excuse ? Really? Green says it himself in this article.

While Green told Ohio State fans on his official Twitter account that he will “always have love for Buckeye Fans,” Green understands the other side of recruiting as well.

“It’s business,” Green said. “It is what it is.”

Green rushed for 1,493 yards and scored 20 touchdowns last season. He has offers from big programs across the country.

The Buckeyes currently have 15 commitments in the class of 2013, including one running back, Ezekiel Elliott.

Yep, said this the moment he committed. Michigan fans told me I was being disrespectful and all that garbage. Anytime a kid is new to the process and visits 1 crappy school and then a school like UM and commits it's going to be a wild ride. Hell it might have been his first visit, not sure. Definitely wasn't mutual.
