Has your school ever had a player decommit?

Oh, please. If you really think this was the first time Tressel deliberately ignored issues surrounding illegal benefits, you're as naive as some PSU fans were.

Cool story. Cite some evidence then instead of just your stupid assumptions.

Only a naive homer would believe that was Tressel's first and only misdoing as HC at tOSU.

Show us how smart you are- what were the other incidents?

How about the hundreds of minor violations reported every year?

Needless to say Troy Smith getting paid, Clarrett, and realistically there were others.

Put your head in the sand if you want.

Hey smart guy, tell us more about how the benefits the players received were "illegal." Which criminal laws were broken again?

First, you are referring to the entire Athletic Department which happens to be the largest in the country. The football program is the same as the rest of the D1 schools.

Second, Troy Smith accepted a hundred dollar handshake and was suspended, had to give the $ back, and the donor was blacklisted for eternity - only because compliance caught it, Troy told the truth, the incident was self reported, and penalties handed down. That is how is should work. Then he won the Heisman.

Third, Clarett was thrown out of the program.

Fourth, UofM is still on probation because of Major violations. Before tOSU. smh at your weak azz sand

  • Tressel wasn't the beacon of morality he claimed to be.

You guys want to come in here and deny that, cool. He got fired for lying.

lol Fair point. The benefits the players received weren't "illegal" in the criminal law sense. However, I'm glad we can agree that the players were receiving those benefits.

Shit... we lost Anzalone, Lewis, EVERYONE thought we'd land Smith and the younger Heuerman too because family ties... it happens to every school, its just funny when homers from any school say otherwise.

Honest Buckeye here. Heard for months how big of lock Smith was. Heck up until Huereman committed OSU fans thought he was a lock. I'm sure they'll use the excuse of having Baugh commit, but we all know Meyer continued to recruit Huereman until he informed Urbs he was headed to ND. Wonder what school the littlest bro goes to UM? Dad former UM bball player, oldest boy OSU, middle boy ND, should be fun to watch.

No, that's just what Bucknuts say happens every time. What you want to believe =/= what actually happened.

DaRick Rogers flipped from us to UT on NSD

We went and offered Kenarius Gates who was going to Kentucky.

Gates is now starting on our OL and Rogers got booted out of Knoxville and never beat us

    Sometimes it works out

Art Schlichter's cellmates and Mo Clarett's rugby team believe Ohio State always does things honestly.....
