  • What do you think about the officiating so far.

    Admittedly I don't like LeBron...but these games look to me like they've been slanted towards the heat pretty hard so far. Maybe I'm being biased.

    Thoughts?

  • If a star player attacks re basket they'll get te call 90% of the time. Lebrons been attacking alot so he's been shooting a lot o free throws. As far as the technicals... Idk maybe the refs are tired of the celtics always bitching

    Maybe you have a point in game one. But remember I think Miami missed 2 of the 4 technical foul shots they got. So we are talking about two points.

    In game two, yes the refs missed a foul when Rondo got hit in the face. But the play before it Lebron was hit in the face and elbow while trying to post up (it ended up being a jump ball instead), but no one talks about that. The Wade/Garnett play right after that, it looked to me like Wade was hit first.

    I don't think the refs have "given" either game to Miami.

    That's because your seeing "a lot of replays" of the same bad/missed call.

    Bad/Missed calls happen many times in every game.

    After game one, Celtics said they need to put more Heat players on the deck. When you put players on the deck, you put players on the line.

    When your defense is characterized by taking the other teams players to the deck and your offense is characterized by settling for jumpers, the other team will go to the free throw line more than your team. It's science.

    C's will get to the foul line plenty in Boston IMO

    I didn't watch the games I'm just going off of the replays that I've seen I don't really like nba basketball that much any more because the referees mess too many games up

    Changing of the guard... Kobe didn't get calls the entire first 2 rounds..., Celtics aren't either...

  • It's not so much the one-sided calling but listening to van gundy towing the company line by trying to receive double penetration from Wade and Lebron.

    When Lebron got his 20th point last night "van gulpting" said "Lebron is on fire" and I'm thinking 16 of his points up to that moment are from the line....

    With the NBA's rating dropping annually and the Mexican population growing we will transitioned from watching NBA players flopping all over the place to soccer players flopping once Futbol replaces the NBA on the scale of sports in the US
