  • ya no way bosh is top ten. I think miami and boston will go 6 or 7 games and whoever wins wont have enough to make it through chicago assuming d rose gets back to the groove of things. he's definitely got the supporting cast this year

  • Tough game today. Bosh is so freaking bad.

Guy is so horrible on defense, Boozer tore him a new one.

    Lulz.

The Celts ain't touching the Heat or Bulls in a 7 game series.

Also the Heat are playing like crap these days and still holding their own.

Heat will be in the finals this year.

Keep watching ESPN and believing that this is a 3 team league. Why can't the celtics beat the heat in 7 games? They definitely play championship defense, they're playing their best ball at the right time of year, Garnett is playing at an unbelievable level and so is Rondo. Im from MA and I watch Boston play every night. Believe me 2 months ago I would completely agree with you that they have no shot at beating these teams in 7 games, but the celtics are back. Two years ago everyone thought there was no way they'd get past cleveland and lebron but what happened? They went into the playoffs healthy and rested and they were one game away from another championship.

I bet last year you never would have thought that Dallas could get past Miami because on paper they can't. But in the finals you need gritty defense and go to scorers down the stretch and Boston certainly has that.

But of course, we don't have LeBron James, and that's most likely going to be what your entire argument consists of.

The Celtics would beat the Heat, if Boston is healthy, in 6 gms.

Its weird, but if Rondo played against Miami every gm, he'd be considered the best player in the world. The Heat cannot stop him for some reason.

The Heat's only chance would be to put LBJ on Rondo all 4qtrs.

The Heats current formula will doom them in the playoffs. They're gonna have to allow LBJ to play point for qtrs 1-3, and then post up on the block for the 4th.

Boston will be a tough out for sure. They have just been messing around the whole regular season, just waiting for the playoffs. They don't care about their seed. I will never count out Pierce, Allen, Garnett, and Rondo. If they are healthy and playing well they can beat anyone. I'm not sure they can keep up with the Heat over 7 games, but it will be a battle for sure. The Celtics never go down easy.

I think they will. The rotation you are seeing now is not what the Heat will be using in the playoffs.

Put the bright lights on and the kid balls out. Something like 13 of his 17 career triple doubles have come in nationally televised games. To have 20 straight games of 10 plus assists is just insane. Only Magic has done what he's doing and it's all indicative of how this team is clicking right now.

its amazing he is doing all of that without being able to make free throws or have any kind of a jump shot. Kid is a baller. Great vision.

  • Its not that Boston is the better team.

This is gonna sound weird, but its true.

When Boston and Miami play, Rondo normally comes out as being THE best player on the court.

Chalmers handicaps the Heat severely, especially in a playoff setting, because he doesnt create easy shots for his teammates. If DWade and LBJ have to facilitate and score, they will be out done by Ray and Pierce.

People say that but the jumper has seen a real improvement this year. Free throw shooting is a different story. He's just a throwback point guard, a guy who makes everyone around him better. It's so fun to watch. For exactly this reason I don't see the heat getting it done this year, not when you have to rely d wade and lebron to run the point. I think they'll make a serious run at Steve Nash this summer whose lookin for a ring, now that will be scary.

its better, but it really couldn't get worse. LeBron has had some success guarding Rondo. They will match up ok with them since they have Battier now who can guard Pierce. Wade can run with Allen. Garnett will smoke Bosh, because Bosh is a giant puss. I just can't wait for the playoffs to start.

  • I know LBJ has put up some big #'s, but Rondo would be my MVP.

He most definitely is the MVP of his team, and the sole reason why they are dangerous right now.

LBJ/Wade/Durant/Westbrook cancel each other out in my opinion.

Its strange that LBJ is up for his 3rd, but Shaq only has 1 mvp award. And people always pointed to the Kobe factor.

After this year LeBron will have 3 of the top 10 seasons in NBA history based on PER.

Definitely have to give KG a decent amount of the credit too he looks about 5 years younger since moving to center. Avery Bradley has also given this team a huge lift with his energy. But Rondo has been great but he always plays like this. He'll have over ten assists any night that the offense is clicking.
