none of us have said the officiating has been great, but you could complain about the refs in every game EVER in the history of sports. To think that there is some kind of big conspiracy for the Heat to win is ridiculous. A lot of LeBron haters will stop watching if he gets a ring. The money smart conspiracy would be for the Thunder to win and keep LeBron ringless, because that is a better story in the offseason and the Heat will be watched closely again.

Hell, imagine if this happened in the Final Four? Refs have a bad 1st round game in the NCAA, they're sent home. NBA shouldn't allow this level of shit.

The calls are more important in NBA so its more recognizable. And yes you do see MLB playoff calls that are like WTF... Strike zones completely change in the playoffs. And NFL holding calls pop up from nowhere.

I really don't think it's THAT bad. I think social media,Internet gives an unnecessary megaphone. If it was THAT bad, Stern would do/have done something.

Completely disagree.
There are always going to be missed calls, but this is atrocious. The other pro leagues don't have nearly this much incompetency in their playoffs.

To make a claim of conspiracy in one case,based on the broad stroke that there has been a conspiracy before is fecetious.
The more legitimate a business, the less the possibility. The NBA isn't boxing or Serie A soccer. The NBA has made its claim to second most popular professional sports league and can make huge in-roads internationally. Why would it want to ruin that with an unnecessary fix? It would be ruinous.

You also have to understand... NBA is a continuous sport... those sports are stop and go so you are always in position to make the call the right way... Soccer is another example where the calls are more important.... Like I said with this type of sport calls are more important and it's noticeable because of that. Its impossible to get it right all the time and honestly those refs get penalized for bad calls and missed calls. They get a reviewed and if its a really bad call they are noted.
