    Nice work there Spo.

Don't blame Spo. Look at his players paying attention to him in the huddle.

After this year LeBron will have 3 of the top 10 seasons in NBA history based on PER.

Im not talking about his skills, they're unmatched.

Im just saying Rondo is the MVP, imo. The Heat are more talented than the Celtics, but when they've faced off, Rondo has been the difference.

This isnt an LBJ diss, but DWade is a bad bad man. And there is no way Shaq shouldve finished up with only one because he had Kobe.

  • 11 bench points from the precious "Heatles" tonight. You'll be hard pressed to beat a good team with that kind of bench production. Demoralizing loss for sure

i agree Shaq deserved more, but who do you take the MVP from those years? Iverson? Duncan?

Wade has missed 12 games so far this year and has left early in a few others, so that is really helping LeBron's MVP chances.

is it news to you that the Heat bench is weak? The Bulls have the best bench in the league.

Don't get too excited about a regular season Heat loss. Remember last year they won one game combined against Boston and Chicago then bounced em both in 5 games in the playoffs.

i dont see the issue in that gif. Its not like hes being Kobe and standing outside the huddle. Hes still listening, just because he's not staring him down doesn't mean anything.

Yeah the record is impressive without Wade, thats why I said it wasnt an LBJ diss.

He is the best player though, so if he wins the mvp its definitely justified.

Its weird, but him a Wade just dont mix well in the half-court gm. In the run-n-gun gm they cant be stopped.

I know LBJ has always said he doesnt desire to play the point, but he's gonna have to do something.

That give the ball to Wade crap, while he sits on the wing, during the last 5 mins wont win in the playoffs.

yep. the half court game is brutal to watch. Neither are good enough from 3 to just sit and watch the other create. They don't mesh well. It is so frustrating at times when one of them is just standing in the corner. I would like to see them run pick and roll with Wade handling and LeBron setting the screen, try to get them working together a little more in the half court. It does no good having them both if one of them is doing what a player like Korver could do better in the half court.

Defensively though, they are monsters and that part of it cancels out the offensive problems a bit more by creating more fast break chances, especially in the playoffs when the effort on that end is a lot higher.

Yeah the defensive angle of it does change things.

If LBJ plays that facilitator role, and we already know the defense is solid, they probably cakewalk it to the finals.

If they plan om relying on Chalmers, against maybe Boston in the 2nd rd, I dont think they make it.

Yout pick and roll idea would be a nightmare for opposing defenses though.

Too bad Spoelstra won't take my phone calls lol

I see James Jones playing a bigger role in the playoffs if Chalmers isn't playing well, Jones is a sniper. I don't know why he isn't seeing the floor much.

Everyone thinks that this team can just flip the switch come playoff time and the way theyre playing right now will just be a distant memory. Well, the Big 3 really couldn't have playe any better last night, and they played great defense, and shut down Derrick Rose, and they STILL lost. These rotation issues aren't just going to be magically fixed in 2 weeks.

Crumbles under pressure, and is not a very good defensive player, it sucked watching that game... something has to change.

  • Sig bet for the guys who think Celts will beat the Heat?

The Celts are terrible, they shot like 80% in South Beach the other day and barely won.

I would take Heat in 5, 6 maxxxx against the Celts.

The bench doesn't matter too much in the playoffs.

Wade and Bosh just need to play more consistent then they have recently.

What happened on April 1st then? The Celtics didnt barely win that one.

The Celtics aren't better than Miami, but Rondo dominates the Heat. He controls that matchup moreso than any player on the court.

    Whats wrong with Wade?

Chalmers will kill the Heat. Luckily for them, it seems like the Celtics will be the Bulls' problem.

The Heat need a pg and size. Or LBJ needs to get off the wing and down on the block, or play pg. If one of those 2 things dont happen, they wont be winning the 'ship.

Boston shot 60.1%, and dont forget the Heat had to come back from 18 down.

This^^ added to the 20 pt blowout Celtics win from 9 days prior, should be enough evidence for you.

My 80% was clearly hyperbole. Every shot was going down. That won't happen over 7 games. And sure the game in Boston wasn't close, the Heat played horribly.

Those games don't tell me anything the Heat are playing badly right now. They will turn it around.

    Sig bet?

Wade has been disappearing much too often.

Bosh has been a pvssy at both ends.

LBJ might play PG if the other guys around him are scoring. The Heat aren't doing anything when LBJ is off the court.

If Rondo is doing work, LBJ will defend him and own him, just like in the playoffs.

This team doesn't really need to win now. I mean I'd prefer them to win now, but playoffs are the only thing that matters.

Your only evidence for why the celtics are terrible is that they shot 80% and won a game?

And bench production doesn't matter in the playoffs, is that serious?

Even if that weren't the furthest thing from the truth, which it is, the Heat don't even have a starting five to count on.

Once again any actual evidence for the Heat turning it around other than flipping the magical switch come playoff time?

So momentum going into the playoffs doesn't matter? Your blind faith in Miami or really just the Big 3 isn't very well founded and will come falling apart at some point in the playoffs. This team really has so many holes and LBJ and D Wade won't be able to cover all of them on their own over 7 games against a tough team.

Rondo was injured in the playoffs last yr, literally only played with one arm.

I dont think Wade has been m.i.a., it looks like thats the gm plan. Lebron goes hard qtrs. 1-3, Wade goes after the last 5-6 mins.

My point is that, they dont have anybody to facilitate for them. People complain about LBJ not posting up enough, but how can he when Chalmers cant beat anybody or get the ball to him down there.

Pg play and reb is serious serious business in the playoffs. The heat are really bad at both.

    DWade, and LBJ.

When you have superstars in basketball, a magical switch is a reality. LBJ and Wade have a good game together no one is beating them.

Heat were 9-6 in March before going 6-1 into the playoffs and coasted to the finals. Guess that wasn't realistic either.

Classic overreaction to regular season games, and even funnier because people are so desperate for them to fail.

If you guys are so confident let's make a sig bet. I'm the one manning up, you guys seem so confident why not step up?

They did pretty well last year, and that was without Battier, healthy Mike Miller, and healthy UD Haslem.

    We shall see.

BTW Celts aren't really all that good.
