Its funny how bad Lakers fans are. I mean Heat fans are bandwagons, but the majority of you Laker fans suck ass (excluding CRGator).
You guys got wiped 4-1 in the 2nd round to a team who lost 4-1 in the Finals. Lakers weren't even in the same ballpark as the elite teams last year. It remains to be seen whether an old Nash and a injured Howard will even get you to the Finals let alone win it.
Do the Lakers have a requirment every player must be good 10 years ago to play for them now? Worst defensive team I've seen in a while other than Howard.
Nash guarding Westbrook? Lulz. Kobe on Wade? Lulz. Artest or Jamison on Lebron or Durant? Triple lulz.
The perimeter defense from the Lakers is going to be embarrassing. And Howard isn't going to completely erase that. Lakers are a much better team, but suggesting they are favorites is a Lakerish thing to do. Durant and Lebron are still going to be the best players on the floor by a fair margin whenever they play the Lakers.

Kobe is still an elite defender and don't forget that Artest is still on the team.. Our defense will be much improved with Howard. Moreover, we couldn't put it together in the last couple of minutes vs OKC in several games and could have been up 3-1 instead of the other way around. Nash isn't going to be asked to score much and will facilitate the offense better than Sessons or blake could. Having the best Center in the league added to your team is huge. Lakers are a top 3 team now with the off season additions.

Kobe is not an elite defender anymore, he simply can't cover other teams best players for a whole game. And I didn't forget Ron Artest, apparently I did forget it was 2008 again though, when Ron Artest was actually good. The guy is strong and that's it. Anyone with speed will walk around Ron Ron.
And the Lakers were down 3-1 to OKC because Kobe choked down the stretch taking retarded fade away shots like he always does, or turning the ball over. Had nothing to do with Sessions although that's a nice cop out.
Lakers improved and are definitely a contender, but I'll wait before annointing them anything. I've seen OKC and the Heat be a much better team than the Lakers. And saying that adding a 38 year old PG with a bad back who can't play defense at all, and a great center with back issues automatically makes you guys better than every other team not named OKC or Miami is a stretch.
The Lakers are old as balls, and other than Howard not very athletic. Two things that don't bode well for them beating OKC and Miami.

I actually said in everyone of my posts the Lakers were a contender. They are by no means THE favorite though.
I'm not that worried though, and it's going to extra sweet wiping those Lakers off the floor if they even make the dance.
I hated the Lakers enough already but adding the biggest loser in the league Howard, and the biggest sell out in the league Nash made it even worse.

The Bulls suck with or without Rose. One elite player will win you regular season games that is it. Bulls have no chance at ever winning chit unless they pick up another great player. Average players like Noah, Deng, etc aren't getting past a good team in the playoffs.
Spurs and Celtics were better last year than the Lakers. Depending on which teams age the fastest will determine who is better.
