Also Kobe is only getting older, and Wade averages 24 PPG against the Lakers lifetime so I'm still lulzing real hard.
Lakers perimeter defense is still god awful whether the homer in you will allow you to admit it or not.
Nash, Kobe, Artest/Jamison is hands down one of the defensive perimeter defensive units around. And rim protectors can only do so much to hide that, just ask KD how much Ibaka blocking shots helped him avoid getting torched all finals long.
USC is a powerful place that Lane Kiffin is ruining.

Lakers are going to be horrible at covering the perimeter end of story. Old, slow, and not athletic is not a good thing in this era of the NBA.

Wade scores so much off of getting in the lane off screens anyway his scoring isn't a whole lot of one on one so I think the Kobe on Wade argument is pretty pointless. Now Dwight making his takes to the hoop a lot harder I do agree with but elite finishers like Wade find ways to finish on anyone. I agree with mrider on that I think Dwight will only cover up so much.
I really think the Lakers are gonna have a much harder time with the Thunder than anyone else. Westbrook is going to destroy Nash or anyone on the Lakers roster whose checking him 1 on 1. And Perk has always played great defense on Dwight. The Lakers might win the west but I see them having problem comes post season. Still gotta think the Heat are the favorites to win it all cuz at the end of the day there's no defense for locked in LBJ.
