  • what did James Jones do? Miami radio guys didn't seem to like the call.

Bulls have Dallas, @ Indiana, and Cleveland left
Heat have Washinton (twice), Houston, and @ Boston.

Bulls are up 1.5 games. Chi- 47-16 Mia- 45-17

It would be nice to sneak into that 1 seed and avoid the Knicks in the first round. I don't remember what the tie break is since they split the season series.

I'd rather play Knicks 1st round than play Celtics 2nd round. Knicks are a 1 trick pony, Anthony is great but not great enough to beat the Heat. Although Chandler played well in NBA Finals and is a tough guy.

Jones deserved a flagrant, didn't think he deserved to get tossed. He essentially body checked Noah high on a box out that was a blatant cheap shot instead of a box out. It seemed to slow Noah down a bit though.

Wade also decked Richard Hamilton and got a flagrant which seemed to get the Heat's intensity going. James crushed John Lucas on a screen which was unreal. Lucas was yapping all game and got wrecked, hate that guy.

Damn I hate the Bulls. Noah, Gibson, Hamilton, and Lucas are all so annoying.

Jones hit shoved Noah above the neck, really just playoff bball. Flagrant 1 shouldve been the call.

The 2 spot for the Heat keeps them away from Boston in the 2nd round.

The Bulls are gonna try to plug DRose into the lineup, and hes gonna be too rusty.

damn, pissed I had to miss it. Lucky I start working normal hours when the playoffs start, so I won't miss any games.

Yeh we are pretty much in exact agreement. The later you face the C's the better also. Atlanta could give them a decent series, and Bulls vs. Celtics would be a battle.

Rose needs to play before playoffs IMO. Not only will he be rusty, his conditioning won't be there either.

Same that will be a fun series, and I don't think the Knicks really stand a chance. I mean Mike Bibby might be starting, Chalmers might not be great but he will get around Bibby at will.

yea i forgot about Boston in the 2nd, that's a good point. Rather have Knicks and Pacers than 76ers and Celtics.

  • What Miami needs to do though is secure home court over the 2 seed in the West. I think Miami needs to have home court over OKC if they meet in finals. That building is tough.

  • The Heat actually have a good path.

The Bulls are all but finished, fools gold. They will be out early, book it.

The Heat should pull for the Bulls in the 1st rd, though. Because you dont want Boston having a cakewalk to the conf. finals.

At this pt, the C's are more ready for the playoffs than Chi.

agree, the Celtics have been coasting all year, they'll be ready.

I may be in the minority but does anyone else notice the C's started to take off after Duke's season ended? I truly believe Doc was slacking early by going to all those games.

Still don't think the Celts are young enough to sustain a run in the playoffs. Pierce, KG, Allen, and Rondo will be needed for 40+ a night. And I doubt Pierce, and KG can do that while sustaining the level of play they will need.

Maybe not like 2-3 yrs ago, but enough to beat the Bulls.

It doesnt matter if Chalmers plays like he did tonight. Add Bosh, with Chalmers being aggressive and the Heat are the hardest team to beat.

The Bulls will determine how far the C's go. Im not 100% sold on the Bulls making it out of the 1st rd. If Philly stops turning the ball over, they gotta shot.

The C's could get lucky and not have to face Chicago. Chicago is looking like this yrs version of the Spurs, from last yr.

Then again DRose could come and avg 25 and 9 in the playoffs, which I doubt.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE PLAYOFFS! the wait is killing me.

Just saw highlights from tonight's game. A Heat-Bulls ECF would be nuts. Those teams do not like each other at all. It will be really interesting to see what Rose will be able to do when he comes back. He did not look good in those games he has played recently, if he doesn't get in at least one of these last 3 games the Bulls are in trouble imo.
