    Only against the Heat.

Not true.. He's always solid. Other teams just have the pieces to take him out of his game.

If he was on a decent roster he wouldn't get the attention he does currently.

  • Lebron reminds me of Jordan in that when Jordan finally got that monkey off his back and got that first ring he went off for the next 7-8 years. I have a feeling that's what Lebron is going to do.

The scary part is Lebron is just now entering his prime.

LeBron is not even close to Jordan. Do not insult Jordan's good name by comparing him to James

Lebron James will never be as good as Michael Jordan, thus we should get rid of his nickname, "The King".

I wasn't comparing the two I was more comparing time frames not their game.

Lebron is a physical specimen. I've always wondered what Jordan could do in Lebrons body. Now that's a scary thought...

I had to make sure you weren't trying to pull a BamaShack, lord knows that kind of non-rational thought needs to be halted.

To say Lebron isn't even close to Jordan is laughable, clearly you're trolling

I wouldn't say that just yet. Although he's getting there and closing the gap. He needs a few more rings IMO.

I have a feeling he is. And get alot of rings.

I remember the Jordan era throughout the 90's and how much I hated Jordan and just wanted him to go away. In hindsight I regret doing that. I wish I would have embraced him more because he was such a talent.

I'm not going to make that same mistake...

People don't need to take Lebron's era for granted. He's a once in a generation type talent.

Love or hate him but there is not another like him. Changed the game

    Changed the game

For starters, I think (if healthy the next 7-8 yrs) LBJ could end up as the GOAT. But how did he, or anyone in this era, change the game?

Kareem- was so dominant in college, they didn't allow him to dunk in gms

Magic/Bird- NBA gms were on tape delay. When they arrived, gms aired live.

MJ- NBA went global; Jordan Brand

Shaq- rule changes (zone defenses allowed)

    These guys "changed" the gm.

I really wasn't sure about that comment either.

All around game. No one has the pure speed and power with a 6'8 270lb frame. A guy that never gets hurt. Can play the post. Can play the point. The 2-3 or 4.

Sure magic did it. But he wasn't the shooter James is.

All around game. He changes the way the game is played. All I meant

Ok, I gotcha. Not only can he play 1-5, he can defend them too.

    Special, I agree.

So I'll ask you guys...do you think Dwight Howard is a bust?

Far from it. But, he is trending downward. Hopefully he comes back healthy next yr.

But, guys like Ewing, D. Robinson, Zo, and so forth (Centers that are just a notch below Kareem, Wilt, Shaq, Dream etc) would destroy today's post gm/players.
