I just think that it wasn't completely out of control until the elbow and now Stern is going to make a statement. You can't make a statement by suspending a player that only plays a couple minutes tops. You suspend a player that most agree should have been kicked out of the game. If not it is bound to make a bench no name player want to do the same elbow to one of the big players on the Heat. NBA really doesn't want to see anything like that IMO.

Pittman should get suspended. Haslem shouldn't but he should have been ejected during the game. Since they didn't and the play got even worse it will be something Stern will want to stop immediately. Everyone knows Pittman will be suspended and nobody cares so it won't affect the physicality. If you suspend Haslem though the players will get the point that you are going to sit a game if you continue this type of play.

I don't know but it would send a message to all players that this isn't going to be accepted anymore. Suspending pittman won't send any message.

I see what your saying, but it was just a really hard foul. This is the playoffs, let them play with the intensity and physicality.

At the end of the day it's hilarious that Granger got hurt. Guy talked so much chit and he is so soft.

The Haslem foul happened like a minute after the Hansbrough flagrant on Wade. He followed through with both arms to his head after the ball was released don't give me this hard foul nonsense it was intentionally dirty and a flagrant 2 by today's rules.

Ya I wish we could have the good ole days of Kurt Rambis and Bird back and say no blood no foul but that just isn't the league today. The refs set a bad precedent by only giving a flagrant 1 so it'd be tough for the league to suspend him now but I think he certainly deserves it.

As for Pittman, if you really wanna punish him and the Heat dont suspend him. I think he should be forced to play 30 minutes plus in Game 6, that would show them.

Soft call I think. Don't see how Haslem gets a game, and Hansbrough doesn't get one. I think it's good in the sense it will keep the Pacers from doing cheap stuff just for the phuck of it.

Either way, it's not too big of a deal. If Granger is out, and West is hobbled Heat front court should be able to hold the fort. Juwan will probably have to put in 10-15 minutes and hold his own. As a solid vet, I think he can.

If Granger is missing or hurting, and West is hurting, losing Haslem shouldn't matter too much. I don't think Juwan is that bad TBH. As long as Joel, and Ronny don't get in foul trouble it shouldn't matter.
