    Shaq was MVP all three of those series, he was one of the best to ever do it at Center.

    Not saying he wasnt. He was the LBJ version of the center position. Just straight up dominant.

    But people get it twisted sometimes. As a starter with Shaq in the playoffs (around 99 gms)

    Kobe avg 25, 5, and 5.

    I think its safe to say they were a 1-2 combo, and not someone riding the tail of someone else.

    Tell the truth.What really happened was Shaq and Phil wanted Kobe to level off his game which Kobe wouldn't agree to.Shaq was jealous that Kobe was getting to much pub period.Could they both have handled the situation better sure but it's not on Kobe.Shaq demanded the Lakers pick aside and management went with the younger player which was Bryant.

    Sweet list Shaq was def a beast.Now list for me all the games where Kobe saved LA's ass in the playoffs.Like against the Blazers or when Shaq fouled out against the Pacers.Don't act like Kobe just rode Shaq's coat tails.They didn't win jack until Kobe came of age at 21.

    Magic has gotten a coach fired, as well as MJ. Hell, MJ was hated by his teammates when he was young. It happens, lol.

    Look those were my 2 favorite players. Shaq was my #1. But, even I knew what Shaq was doing. Kobe signed with the Lakers when he was 17. He thought he was all that.

    . The Lakers wanted Kobe to be the guy, and Shaq wasnt feeling that. Hell, I dont blame Shaq. But, I dont blame Kobe either.
