We aren't just committed to college football; we're early enrolling in it.
Where the madness isn't just in March.
You have no favorite boards.
There might be 10 players who, through Week 4, have more realistic opportunities than preseason mega-favorite Matt Barkley to win the Heisman Trophy.
Could you imagine if say, back in june i started a thread saying EJ would be in better position than Barkley after week 4
I would have cussed myself out with the first reply
"As good as Mariota is with his legs, he’d be a very strong Heisman candidate if his coach, Chip Kelly, weren’t using No. 2 quarterback Bryan Bennett in a red-zone running package. Bennett already has three rushing touchdowns, to none for the faster Mariota."
The writer obviously has no knowledge of what Oregon has done this year. Bennett has only been in the game during one goal line opportunity the entire year, which Lyerla got the TD on and one other opportunity in the red zone. The new package was unleashed for the first time Saturday so that might be a trend going forward but has not been thus far this season. The rest of Bennett's numbers have all come in junk time.
