But reading Woody talk basketball is like watching two mentally challenged people try to play chess in the park. It's just so frustrating after a while you need to move the piece for them or just slap them both and walk away.

That's not what I said. I said DT coach to DL coach is a step down, which it is. I said OU is struggling to stay "elite", while Michigan is trending up. Most would agree.

Any team that plays the #1, 2, 3 and 8 teams in the nation and loses its starting QB 2/3 of the way through the season is going to have bad games. If you pay any attention to Michigan football, you'd know that the talent level on the team is going up in a major way.

We lost to Bama, ND, Nebraska (w/o Denard), you guys by 5, and we had SCar on the ropes in the bowl game.

While 8-5 is no way an acceptable season, you have to take into consideration what we had to deal with in 2012.

The way Hoke is recruiting, and how much better we're getting on D every year, yes, we're trending up. Please try and refute this.

So, it seems like an old bit, but you're hopes and dreams are on recruiting classes that you hope will step up the lack of quality of starters you have now. You have no solid proof they will, but you believe they will based on recruiting numbers. However, Michigan has had some great recruiting classes before right? Old bit, I know, somehow, these classes are better.

KState has been the best team in the Big 12 the past couple years. I said OU is struggling to stay elite, and if you can't be the best in your conference (especially while Texas is down, ffs), then you aren't really elite.

Who says you have to have a signature victory? You? confused

We played a top-10 SEC team close in a bowl to the point where we were one blown coverage away from winning the game. When you consider what happened the last time we played an SEC team in a bowl game, it's hard to say we aren't trending up. In addition, I consider our play against South Carolina this year to be more impressive than our win against VT last year. I don't think anyone will argue that the 2011 VT team was even close to as good as the 2012 SC team.

Right, because I clearly said all my hopes and dreams lay in the hands of Hoke's recruiting classes. I said it's a part of why we're trending up, but it isn't the only reason.

    So, let me translate this:

No, we didn't have a signature victory. Maybe Northwestern on an end over end pass, or beating a 6-6 MSU team in the last second on a field goal and not scoring a touchdown on them. But we're trending up.

Oh, and last year when MSU and Georgia had an epic game, it meant nothing compared to Michigan VT. However, this year against USC, that game was epic.

Carry on, you guys are so full of yourselves.

So some epic victory last year that you had can point to that? or maybe like Weise at ND, his best victory was a loss against USC at home. Maybe that was Hoke's best victory last year a loss against South Carolina or OSU. I get that.
