One thing I find odd is the need for rationalization for other presidents' spending, but not the current. Low spending to GDP ratio and rate of inflation? Try the worst recession in 75 years.
I'd also like to add that the spending, while high, has peaked and leveled, not accelerated like some would like to believe.
