    2. I hate it. The Rangers have owned us. I think we'll win, but it will be a long grueling series that I'm worried about. I'd much rather face Buffalo.

  • Buffalo plays Philly at home and then Columbus on the road to end this season. Rangers play Atlanta and the Devils at home. I think there is a decent chance we take the 7 seed from Buffalo.

    Im confident we take Philly or Washington to 6-7 games but without Callahan I just have a hard time seeing us getting over the hump and winning the series. Don't think wed beat the Caps, do think we could beat Philly.

    Vancouver over Washington in 6 in the SCF.

    2. What do you think of your potential first round matchup? Wings have gone back and forth against LA. I'd rather face them than the Preds although if we play the Preds I'd be able to go to some games so either way for me.

    3. How far do you have your team going? If you asked me a week ago I'd say 2nd round prolly. We were playing with no energy and either winning by a goal or losing in OT/SO.

    Since we got killed by the Blues and the way we've played since then, as well as brining back Datsyuk, I'd say Conference Finals at the least as my expectation. Canes tonight and 2 games against the Hawks this weekend but after that I'm hoping we play complete games like we have these last 2 against the Wild and Preds.

    4. Who's the Final 4? Sharks/Wings, Caps/Flyers

    5. Who wins it all? Wings

    My husband and I have decided that the Flyers can't be as bad as they have been playing since the break. We think that Laviolette, being the coaching bad censored that he is, has something up his sleeve pray - Yeah, right.

    Treber, one of the things to know about Laviolette is that he can come in and turn a team around, but he's such a hard ass that his act wears thin. It happened in Carolina. I find it hard to believe it literally happened in the middle of the season this year, but then again, you guys played almost an entire extra season last year in the playoffs.

  • If you watch the Flyers play it is like they just can't kick it into last gear. It is truly depressing to watch especially in contrast to the first part of the year. It is like they just do not have that fire like they did in the playoffs. I know that they have lost some players that were instrumental in them making it into the SC last year but they have MORE than enough talent to make up for it. I honestly believe our downfall will be our goalie situation. Boucher is Boucher (enough said) and Bob is young. Unfortunately he seems to always go down to block shots and teams have figured that out and are going top shelf on him now. Laviolette just pulled Leighton up but it might be too little too late for our goalies. God help us if any games come down to a shoot out.

  • headslap True, but these last few games will determine who we play first round and we have had a lot of OT games lately. I do not see us coming in first or second seed. We will be lucky if we do not fall to 4th place. Of coarse I guess it does not matter because I see us losing no matter who we play.

  • Im a jackets fan cry, but before they were around i was a die hard Flyers fan. So ill be pulling for the flyers obviously. It would be nice to take over the Caps and play the Rangers in the first round since they lost Callahan for the year.

  • Only team I watch is the Caps, so I won't comment on anyone else. I hate they got the Rangers in the 1st round. I really hope they make it to the cup though, I want to see that live.

    Would have felt better about their playoff chances if they did not lose Kopitar to a broken leg. Sort of freak thing too..his skate got caught in the ice. They still have the 2nd best PK in the league and Dustin Brown is a witch on skates.
