Mark Murphey from Scout and Philip Marshall from 247Sports both put out the same things. Mark even went further with it saying he wouldn't switch... Difference being though is that 247 only reported what the coach said. Mark appologized to the board. J. Lee got angry and sounds like deleted any posts.

I agree. I don't really mind him switching (don't get me wrong I wanted him in our class) but if you are going to do it and know you are for almost 3 weeks don't go about it like he did. Don't play us and lie to are coaches and just about everyone else. Just was poorly handled IMO.

That network made it ok to treat their customers like that a while ago. When you have a national guy that rarely even talks to any customers basically come out and do the same thing it lets everyone know that is ok to do. I'm talking about Barry Every in this case. This site will start to pick up a lot of customers if he doesn't. The people that pay for Scout won't ever switch but I don't see the same loyalty with rivals.

Just don't tell people to change their tampon on TideSports.com. Thats how I got banned after I dealt with some loser whining all week before the Michigan State game about how our offense was in total disarray. Of course we scored 49 pts against a top-10 defense the next week after I got banned and I couldn't talk any crap :(

I think it was Barry Every that basically said that bama got their way a lot over there with how kids were ranked.

I told you there was more to the story and the Newberg stuff meant nothing. But you just couldn't handle it. I get it. But I'm as objective a Bama fan on this board and I sat here and told you there was more to the Yeldon story and you called me every name in the book.

In all fairness, AU posters haven't acted any differently than hoards of bama posters did last year when Callaway switched to auburn. For the most part, the ones on here haven't been bad at all.

Hypocrisy would be saban's statement on recruiting committed players. But let's not let facts get in the way of idiocy.

Gingers are socialized with abrasiveness from their peers at an early age. It's not his fault.

What fact did I dispute? He plays by the rules, even if he doesn't like them. I don't see how that has anything to do with it.

My point was that people are mad at how he switched, but the Auburn coaching staff lied to the kid, so he didn't owe them a face to face de-commitment. Should he have? Absolutely! My dad reared me to do such things. But don't act like "aww, poor Auburn because the coaches were lied to".

When did they tell him that?

ESPN (2-3 years ago) and 247, obviously, have been sniping Rivals best talent from its hay day period. What's left is the bitter a-holes who didn't get picked for a new team.
