That is the exact reason I brought this up. I saw VT's recent snag of recruits and thought about posting to ask how it happend (ie: camp, visitor weekend, spring game) but wasn't sure how it would be received. I love the idea because our board by all accounts is still growing in comparison to others but we still get a lot of off-topic threads flooding information. We are one of the few boards that only has a single board in which to post.

Dude, for any questions like that, go directly to VTScoop and post the question, you will get a great response. VT's 247 site has been up and running a couple months, and has exploded. My best guess is somewhere around 600 paid members already. It's just killer.
The commits happened at the spring game. One lineman was between UVA and VT, and had been to UVA's game the prior week, which probably had attendance in the 4-5,000 range. He said he was blown away to see 20,000 VT fans at the stadium tailgating, 4 hours before the start of the game. VTScoop put on an awesome tailgate, complete with food provided by chick fil-a and a live radio broadcast. Was nice to tailgate a bit with Tyrod Taylor and Kam Chancellor. Due to lightning, the game ended up being cancelled, and it was still one of the best times I've ever had at a game. lol
Seriously, drop by the Hokie site anytime and ask questions about anything, you will make a lot of new friends. Our record on the football board at one time is now over 1,000.
