    He's hopelessly addicted to weed.

Even though his smoking is ruining his life, he can't put the blunts down.

IMO you have to be retarded to throw things away for marijuana. There is zero physical dependency. Good chance you're fvcked in the head with or without it if you do not have the willpower to not smoke. Especially if it's for millions. IMO this is for public perception and draft status. IF he's in there for weed. Some are saying it could be Rx.

  • Good for him I hope he gets his head on straight. Best thing for him would be to get away from his current circle.

  • Hopefully he ends up back at LSU next season. Going to be interesting to watch and see what he decides.

  • There is no way he's in rehab for marijuana exclusively. There's gotta be more to it. Maybe he's involved in actual hard drugs, who knows. But no one goes to rehab for a "weed addiction." Either a PR deal or he's there for a different drug problem.

I think its funny that people think pot is not addictive. Any mind altering drug is. When on probation they screen for drugs & alcohol. I had a class with a 50 year old. Everybody in the class knew we were getting tested & he smoked the night before. I know people who quit for 2-weeks & think they can beat it. That's a risk your willing to take. But the night before. Your willing to give up your liberty for a doobie. Yeah it can be addictive.

It depends what your definition of addictive is.

I would be willing to bet he was more addicted to thinking they wouldn't test him, or they would let him slide in some way because if who he was, than addicted to weed

Probably, but his use fits the DSM-IV definition for substance abuse, so he technically does have a (mental health) problem.

Well they tested him after court on a wednesday to see where his levels were. Put him in my class. Whole class was told to bring ID for a drug test on firday. We all tested on friday. Monday they pulled him out of class cuz his thc levels or what ever they test for went up from his prior test not down.

people don't go to rehab for substance abuse.

    they go for substance dependance.

even in the DSM, which i have no idea why you are trying to sound so smart, they are 2 different things.
