For those of you older than I am, has Hooters always sucked or is that something that has happened over the last 10-15 years? I remember when I was younger (18-22 or so) when I'd go in there, I'd have a good time, look at hot chicks in skimpy clothes, and leave with fond memories. That's not the way it is anymore. I go in, drink warm beer, see fat skanks in tight clothes that expose too much cellulite, and leave with a vow never to return.
I'm just wondering if this is the way Hooters has always been and I was just high on life and drooling over anything in tight shorts or if they peaked back in the mid to late 90's and have steadily gone downhill ever since. Anyone have the perspective to answer that?

I went to lunch there in Metairie recently,.and they had a bunch of skanks working there, but they were hot skanks. Wings were mediocre, but I've gotten spoiled on the wing sauce i cook

Just opened one in downtown Indy. I went there St.Patricks day (Ohio State/Gonzaga) awesome place! Girls look amazing!!!
Yes Hooters sucks! Beer gets hot and always seems flat, food is average if not bad. I do like the Daytona Wings. Girls are hit and miss,mostly miss, at least the ones here in Indy.

Hooter's like all the other restaraunts like it, it completely depens on the area.... Luckily in the Dallas area we don't really have a bad Hooters, and I will never eat wings anywhere else so they have my business for life

I've lived a half mile from one for almost two years and have never even gone inside. I guess it being described as "a Scottish Hooters" was enough to turn me off. My mom is Scottish and I just really would rather not picture that.

Yeah, I don't care for their wings either. If I order them naked, they're edible, but most any bar makes them better.

It does not depend on the area.
The girls are mediocre, and dressed like some sort of time travel experiment from 1982. Hot pants and panty hose just dont do it anymore.
The food is dreadful....like seriously bad. This is not a regional issue, its nationwide.
The novelty of Hooters wears off the second you actually have sex with a real girl.

I think it went down hill right after the original owner passed away.
I love their wings, but their prices are absolutely ridiculous for what you get. The company needs a major overhaul, IYAM.

In my high school years my friends and I went to every Hooters in the Birmingham area. Only the one in Pelham consistently had more hot girls than meh girls.
And some of them had mostly older chicks who did not look good at all in those short shorts and low cut tops.

They were on undercover boss recently. It was interesting. The son is now the CEO and was surprised to find out how things actually work. Everyone misses his dad, apparently. And one manager was caught hazing his girls.
We went to the local one about 2 weeks ago...our server was not hot, and the one at the table across from us was very attractive but about 7 months pregnant. Wasn't sure what to make of that.

food has always been below average
girls depend on the location and even then depend on the year (best to find one in a college town)
i'd prefer to go elsewhere, every time
