Horrible roughing calls

Saw a couple of penalties for personal fouls today that were just crap. The hit on Vernon Davis was another BS call today. Is football becoming a pansy sport.

I saw that hit as well. I'm not a fan of San Fran or Seattle either. That call was BS! How are players in the secondary supposed to break up potential completions?

They need to be able to quickly review whether it's helmet to helmet. It's not really the refs fault, such a tough call to make on the field and they're told to pretty much call everything.

Goodell is mandating those calls under the disguise of player safety to save for "his league". I actually think it is a ratings thing now where people want to see the next BS call they make.
just curious, when was the last time an offensive player was fined for those hits? Hines Ward?

It's all about money. More scoring= More money. Sports are pretty bad now.
I gotta find a good soccer team to follow. At least I know it's gonna be fake going into it.

The Personal Foul against Ed Reed today was an atrocity as well. Shoulder pad to chest, and the only reason it was flagged because it was a huge hit. The refs just assume now that every big hit was because of launching.
