    Supposedly Ash is making strides, but I will wait until we play Wyoming to judge that. That being said, unless Ash just totally sh*ts the bed, we will be vastly improved. Our O-line and WR's are looking better and our Defense/RB's should be solid again. With the addition of Gray alone we are a better football team. If Ash is a competent to above average QB this year, we will finish 1 or 2 in the Big 12.

  • I'd say 9 or 10 wins. Defense will be best in Big XII (I know it's an offensive league) and offense will be top 5.

    Ironically, Wake is FSU's first real game of the year. And it is sad that we consider Wake to be a real game.

    I feel ya man. Last two years have been pretty rough (Baylor...frustrated). Hopefully it will just make the next few years that much sweeter. smoke

    That's not nice. lol Although I did just see their upcoming schedule now that I'm not on mobile. Nothing to really worry about OOC. Not that I can talk with my schools cupcake schedule OOC.

    We get a home and home with Texas in 2017 and 2018. cheers

    I wonder who will be Texas's final game of the season year in, year out. Or will it just alternate between teams.

    True, we haven't in a while, but have started ramping them up recently. I believe we start a 4 game series, over 6 years, with Notre Dame in 2014, and we play USC in 2016 and 2017. Also, its not our fault Ole Miss sucks.

  • Toughest ooc game was tOSU 6 or7 years ago. there hasnt been a tough one in a while. UCF caught us off guard a couple years ago but thats about it. I dont like our vanilla ooc schedule because its usually only two weeks after ooc games OU comes rolling around and we arent prepared for it.

  • Ole Miss was supposed to be a decent one but they got back to sucking pretty quickly lol

    And we'll have a top 10, possibly top 5, defense in the country. It's almost all a matter of whether Ash can put it together and if we can get some consistent O-Line play. Anything less than a Cotton Bowl berth is a failure in my eyes

    Yeah, that's the last one that comes to mind. I wouldn't consider UCLA a cupcake either. They are awful in conference, but play relatively (perhaps even surprisingly) decent OOC. They are a respectable OOC opponent imo.

    TDay is gonna be TCU and I think WVU alternating year in year out but it will always be here in Austin I believe. This year we had a second idle week in the season so we could finish in December like conferences with 12 teams do. I expect it to continue to be like that. Baylor may stay as the last game but im not sure on that.

    Yeah when we scheduled UCLA they were on the verge of becoming decent again. Just how everything feLl into place. We lost to them two years ago but im not sure if that says anything.

    Also I have seen Texas play Ohio State and Arky in OOC.
