How bad does LSU beat Bama this year?

  • I'd like to predict a blowout as revenge for last year but I'm willing to go with a conservative 24-10. Thoughts?

Are you talking about the regular season game, or the bcs title game?

Depends on how many times "honey badger" gets mossed like he did I the title game over and over. Never seen a more overrated player before. Oh yeah please tell me what kind of game ole mettenburger is gonna have I would love to hear that.

  • I don't see anyone beating bama by 14... IF your going to do it, it has to be with ball control, limitting mistakes and getting a few bounces go your way. Special Teams is also critical. With McCarron being more comfortable in his junior year and a gunslinger in Mett, it should be a much more exciting game to watch. Still a tossup IMO

You must be a Bama fan, otherwise there was no possible way to watch it. Was the first championship game I haven't watched till the end.

Why, will their not be enough crunchy jams in our schedule or something? Seriously, why should I listen to a doofus with a dave matthews picture tell me about football?

If I could watch my team play like a triple-coathanger abortion for 4 quarters, you could watch too. Don't be mad your team won't sniff a championship game again in your lifetime. This thread is to discuss how bad LSU will break their foot off in gump ass come november, not for loser fans to cry.

  • Bama is built in a way that makes it almost impossible to beat them in a blow out. No matter what, they're going to control the ball, keep the turnovers down, and play field position, assuming they dont just score. Plus, even with an inexperienced defense, they're still going to be above average and eventually great again, once the defense meshes. Teams like that are hard to beat soundly. The chances on offense and defense are limited as far as big plays go.

The USCe game in 2010 showed how its done when they beat up on Bama pretty bad.. Big plays on their secondary and some good breaks, plus Bama was a little too "content" and cocky. They were caught by surprise when USCe came to play

. Nobody but LSU could beat them at their own game. LSU did it last year, but it was with Bama missing three FG's and it took OT.

I think LSU should be the favorite, especially at home and with slightly more experience, but it'll be very close again no matter what. It'll be another defensive game that could go either way. If Mett isn't the truth, it could be another ugly game for LSU. Hard to imagine him not being better than what they've had at QB with Jefferson though. IF Mett is above average this year, nobody is beating LSU.

I would give up my 1st-born child to play Ohio State right now. Nothing makes me happier than beating Urban into the hospital or "family time."

    ehhh that one was painful.

Couple things yall might find interesting about what went wrong with OSU in that game. Apparently at the last practice before the game, Anthony Gonzales got into a physical fight with Troy Smith. Apparently Troy had put on 15 pounds hitting the buffets at all the postseason awards ceremonies. Gonzales being the my body is my temple guy, took issue with Troy not putting in the work. Then 3-4 other guys got involved in the fight. Apparently Troy wasn't so popular with some of his teamates, he apparently had hooked up with multiple guys chcks. Just some backstory on what went down when we collapsed in that game. This may explain why Troy doesn't have his number retired yet, the only Heisman winner who's name isn't up on the wall. I think eventually they will retire it, but they aren't in any rush.
