How come the media isn't praising BO for helping out white ppl?

Nah..Y'all are. Assuming purposeful and dubious choices is baseless and sad, but there is nothing wrong with keeping people accountable, but y'all arent doing that.

So, will you give credit to BO for actually being a leader and effectively leading the proper federal agencies in recovery?

He did what he was supposed to, just like Obama did. The difference is in the Governors. Mississippi was hit by the eye of Katrina yet they had no problem. CristieHe did what he was supposed to, just like Obama did. The difference is in the Governors. Mississippi was hit by the eye of Katrina yet they had no problem. Cristie is doing his job. What has Obama done that Bush didn't? Sorry in advance if I cause you to have a meltdown again.

    Mississippi had no problem? roflmao

Sorry, but I literally almost live in Mississppi and you are completely wrong. FEMA failed as much as any local and state governments.

You really think Bush's response was approriate given the fact that Katrina was the worse natural disaster in US history?

I don't know. How about actually going to visit the area personally in a quick manner? Talking to local leaders and making sure the agencies are doing what they need to be doing? I mean he got praise from Christie. That speaks for itself. Even more impressive is that he is in the middle of a re-election and made sure he did what he had to do. Romney was still out their campaigning like a douche canoe.

Barbour didn't need to say anything negative since he got some preferential treatment.

The federal response should have been superceded in the event, but it wasn't. Luckily this admin changed that.

A harder look at Haley Barbour’s post-Katrina miracle

Mississippis GOP governor did a good job getting cash out of Republicans in Washington, but is he really doing a good job cleaning up after Katrina?

    What has Obama done differently?

How does polling work for you?

Poll: 78 percent approve of Obama's response to Sandy

A majority of likely voters see President Obama's response to Hurricane Sandy in a positive light, according to a new poll. The ABC News/Washington Post poll , which conducted interviews about the storm on Tuesday, before being released on Wednesday found 78 percent of likely voters viewed Obama's response positively while just 8 percent viewed his response negatively.

President Bush's vow to rebuild the Gulf Coast did little to help his standing with the public, only 40 percent of whom now approve of his performance in office, according to a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll released Monday.

I already posted this. He proactively revamped FEMA.

In addition to making a personal effort and going out of his way to assess the situation and provide leadership immediately in the aftermath. You know like the President should, instead of just flying over and heading back and forth between Texas and DC for a few days.

So your claim of what Obama has done differently with Hurricane is appointing Fugate head of FEMA and that he went to "access the situation" faster than Bush? Is Obama trained to access a Hurricane's aftermath and direct personnel? What recommendations did he make that made the difference? New Orleans was flooded, would you rather Bush have occupied a boat that could have been used for rescue in order to have a photo op of him in the middle of the flooding "accessing the situation"?

I will agree that Fugate was a good choice to head FEMA but that was done several years ago.

It clearly states more than just a nomination of Fugate, but everything else was spot on. That's exactly what we need from the President of the United States, just hang back and let it fix itself, don't try to get out and project leadership, especially when it's the worst natural disaster in the country's history. I'm sure that is just fine.
